A: The colorants used in this shampoo are chromium oxide green, iron oxide and ultramarine which are mineral-based natural pigments. They are not artificial colorants.

The shampoo bar did not last long and broke really easily because of the design. I have shoulder length hair and I felt like it did well with my hair but disappeared much quicker than my conditioner bar. I would rate the conditioner bar higher but I wish both bars were shaped differently so it didn’t break so easily.

I’ve tried many brands of shampoo bars and never had one I truly disliked. I keep my shampoo bar in a soap dish away from the water so it can drain and not sit in a puddle, even with this, this bar became very brittle and dry. It cracked which would snag my hairs and eventually it crumbled into pieces too small to use. I would never buy this brand again.

I have fine thick dark brown hair. This caused so much build up in my hair, after 2 days of using it, it looked like I hadn’t washed my hair in a week. I had to use normal shampoo 5 times to get it all out - the first two times, my hair didn’t even lather up. So gross.

I love the Kitsch shampoo bars! The conditioner bars are not quite there, but the shampoos are great! They aren’t easy to use by “painting” onto wet hair and then lathering. The one thing I have beef with is that they way overestimate the amount of washes. I use conservatively and I get less than 50 washes whereas the packaging claims you’ll get 100. That kinda makes me feel like I’m paying too much for the product to not go as far as they claim, but the shampoos do work well.

It was fine. I liked that is was plastic free packageing. However it gets very crumbly at the last third of the bar making it very difficult to use. I will be going back to using HiBar.

Left my fine, barely wavy hair, wavy and bouncy after ulsing this, without using any additional products. If I put extra moisturizer or curl cream in afterwards, my hair is too weighed down. Love these bars, so far!

I wanted to like it so bad but man did it mess my scalp and hair up. After starting using the shampoo and conditioner, my scalp has been so itchy and dry. The amount of hair loss I’ve been having is astronomical. I used it for a month and boy am I regretting it. It caused so much damage to my hair and scalp. I don’t recommend it at all. I have tried bar shampoos in the past and never really liked any of them. This one has a lovely smell, it slaps up a good lather and my hair felt clean and it gave my scalp a little tingle. Will def buy again - plus no plastic container!

It works as advertised— it suds up easily, my hair feels fuller,, it smells great. I also noticed that my hair is clean but doesn't feel stripped or dry to the touch after one sudsing. And it cuts down on plastic. Would love to see it come down in price. Will buy again.
