Fantastic for both art and note taking. When lining, it’s easy to get smooth, continuous lines. For note taking, I like that the pens are consistent, and don’t bleed through. I am a heavy note taker, and one 4 pack will last me a semester, between using the pens for my planner, budget, notebooks, and in-class assignments. These are always my go-to pens and anything else is a disappointment in comparison. The .7mm thickness is perfect - I find .5 or .3 to be less stable while writing and makes my handwriting look wobbly. My only (minor) complaint is that over time, the tip becomes worn down. These difference between a new, fresh pen and an older pen is obvious. These difference between writing will look completely different.

How do I love thee, felt tip pens? Let me count the ways...These don't bleed, but they aren't permanent. Also, they WILL dry out if not capped. I use them daily. Hard to say how long they last but they seem to have an impressive life span. I store them tip-side down, and I swear that extends the life of the pens.

I love a good flair pen! I have all of the colors too but this pack is perfect because it’s the one I use the most! One for work, one for home, one for my purse and a backup. I especially love these pens for writing cards.

I bought these for my middle school aged child as per his school supply list. All 4 pens were completely dried out. I do not recommend them. I had high hopes as I love a good pen.

I’m a teacher, and these are my go-to pen for when colored ink is not appropriate. I will keep repurchasing!

Why does it say “Vivid Colors” on the package if they’re all black? Keeping them bc I need black & the price was super low, but still need to purchase other colors.

The best pens ever! These are the best flare pens i have ever had! Would recommend 10/10

The tip sticks to the paper when writing, so the flow of your writing movement is slowed down. It’s difficult to put into words. Tip is too hard and gives no flexibility when writing? I personally disliked them and will go back to sharpie pens. The papermate felt pens are not the felt style I am used too. What I liked about felt is the ease of movement. I write very fast and neat, these created handwriting that looked like 1st grade level. I had to slow down in writing which is hard for me.

Smudge easily so can’t use

I really wanted to like these. Very bold ink and nice slip to writing but it smudges everywhere. I end up with black palms after writing my lists. The papermate ultra fine flair is better in my opinion.
