A: All of our cheeses and butters are gluten-free. Our oats are not certified gluten free under purity protocol. However, each batch of oats is tested for gluten and tests below 10 ppm.

I haven't tried it yet. I need a butter substitute for baking but I'm hesitant because of all the saturated fat in it due to the coconut oil. I wish there was a way to make it with less saturated fat.

This is the best vegan butter ever, I have worked in health food stores & this is absolutely the best butter you can get your hands on. It acts like a margarine, but the flavor is so good I like it better than actual butter. It also leaves your stomach feeling light but full, so you’re not feeling that gut strain processing heavy dairy. If your butter melts and separates, know that that is completely normal. The best thing I like to do is put it back in the fridge and then whip it with a fork and it’s good as new. It’s just like natural peanut butter or almond butter! The oil is not inedible like the former post claims, because literally that oil creates the creamy consistency when it’s blended. It’s perfectly fine & safe to eat.

I love the butter, itself, reminds me of Land O Lakes (dairy) butter I grew up on. However the product at Target consistently has melted and recooked with a dark ring around it that is not edible. I thought this was due to the drive up order process but bought it in store last time and it was even worse. For the expense that is unacceptable. Otherwise the product itself gets 5 stars for taste, lack of palm oil, and so spreadability.

Puts any others to shame. Creamy, great consistency, tastes amazing, hint of saltiness which I love…I will buy no other. Hoping Target will bring in more from Miyokos brand like their liquid mozzarella so I don’t have to shop “elsewhere.”

Cashew and almond milks have a weird aftertaste. Oat milk tastes closer to the real thing. I developed a milk allergy as an adult and finding anything without casein and dairy is near impossible, especially anything that tastes good. I prefer oat milk to nut milks, which is why I love this butter. My kids couldn't tell the difference. If they stop making it, I'm going to learn how to make it myself.

We have both soy and dairy allergies in our family and this is a great substitute. I had started out with the Miyokos stick-butter form factor but it was unwieldy as one big block. This is significantly easier to pull out of the fridge and use on the fly. It's not identical to 'real butter' but I have yet to discover a plant-based substitute that is, and this meets our needs perfectly. Thanks for making it Miyokos!
