I love that these are smaller than traditional French pins but I do wish they were matte black or another color. Also, I have very fine, slippery hair, and a single pin will sometimes slip out if I didn't get the initial bun just right, but two keeps everything secure.

I was so surprised at how well this holds my hair in place. I have long, naturally blonde, fine hair. Normally ponytails slide out of my hair at least once in a day. This held my hair all day with no pulling or pain on my scalp. There were no crease marks from the ponytail on the ends of my hair. It slides out easily and doesn’t get tangled in my hair. The pins are a beautiful color and can be dressed up or down.

These small pins are perfect for a bun with my medium-long, thin/fine hair. But I don't like the pinkish "gold" color. Target, please please please sell the matte black pins! Plus other non-gold colors. Please!

Works great for thin, super fine, super straight hair. Used to make a very chic bun that stays put and doesn't risk pulling, snagging, or tugging like an elastic. Mini version is the perfect size to have just the ends peaking out of the bun.

These seem very nice, but I cannot get them to work in my hair. I have shoulder length, medium-full volume with fine individual strand density, curly/wavy textured (my family lovingly calls it my “white girl fro”). They are a very nice color and finish (I got gold).

After a couple of years of shorter cuts I decided to go longer again. Was disappointed to find Goody stopped selling the Modern Updo Pin. I found these from the Wirecutter recommendation. These pins are doing the trick.

I think these pins are really nice and love the gold color. They look very chic. I do think that my hair is thin and I believe it still works but will work better for someone who has thicker hair. The idea of how to use it isn’t too hard after watching a couple of YouTube videos.

I have shoulder length hair that isn't quite long enough to french braid and I don't like the look of just a pony tail and "claw clips" are just ugly and not at all sophisticated. These pins (only the minis unless you have a lot of thick hair) are the answer! Pulls my hair up quickly and looks great and stays all day. Using them takes a little practice and not all videos are great at showing you how to use (including the one on this site). But once you figure it out, it's worth it!

I love these clips! They are adorable! Abs I always get compliments on them. I literally own every one of her products from shampoos to masks to bobby-pins and headbands . I love the straightener. The last 2 things I need to get are the blow dryer and curling iron. Once I get those I will own every product Kristin makes! Love her stuff and it smells so good! Moneys a little tight right now but once I have a little extra I’m buying those last 2 products! Thanks for making my hair beautiful Kristin!
