Q: what kind of liners are used for this trash can?

A: Hi, our trash can does not require custom trash bags and you can use liners from any brand of your choice. For this model we recommend using 8 gallon and up liners.

This is my fifth iTouchless waste receptacle and I love it. Right now any this size are not turned on because I have a cat that has figured out how to open them and since I can not afford to replace all of the short ones with iTouchless that have the pet protection feature; I will have to wait until this is no longer an enticement for my cat. I do recommend if you have a pet get the iTouchless that prevents animals from opening them. Otherwise the trash cans are so easy to operate and maintain. My tall kitchen one is still fully operational and I am so glad I bought it, especially with COVID as I do not have to touch the can until I have sprayed it with disenfectant. They are easy to clean, you do not see the bags, and they have odor control features that are easy to use.
