Q: 1) are the earbuds interchangable & function without problems? 2) may a single earbud be used (and not the other)? I only need one earbud & would only use one at a time!

A: Thanks for your inquiry. The earbuds are interchangeable, and a single earbud may be used. If the unused earbud is stored in the charging case the other is switched to mono mode. Details in Quick Start Guide included with the earbuds.

I think the sound quality is great and I like the look of them and the case they come in is nice. Definitely a quality design. However, I bought these for exercising and no matter which tips or wings I try, they simply won’t stay in my ears. In the fit test, I can’t seem to get a good fit in one of my ears. I think the issue is the shape of the body of the bud just can’t fit snugly in my ears. Maybe this is more a review of my weirdly shaped ears. The other issue is that many times I’m putting them in, something happens with the noise cancelling that causes the buds to temporarily make either an ear splitting chirping noise or a low rumbling bass. Both are kind of a rapid pulse. Finally, when I’m trying to stuff them in (which can be quite tricky and painful for my ears) I usually end up touching the outside of the bud in a way that activates the controls accidentally. Kind of a hassle. I really wanted to like these headphones because others seem to swear by them, but unfortunately I think I’ll be returning them.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Reflect Aero TWS. We value your input, and we'll make sure to forward your feedback to the appropriate team. If you still have sound issues with your headphones, please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset. Reset may fix the issue, much in the way rebooting a computer or phone fixes many problems. And then you will have to manually re-pair again. This will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. To do this, With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If you need more help, please contact us.

Good hardware, terrible software. Used for just over a year or 2, both earbuds in theory still function, but the left disconnects and will not reconnect after playing music for <5 seconds. All tips to resolve such as resetting/re-pairing have failed, overall pretty disappointing given the price point.

I have used JBL products for years and have been very happy with them all. The problem with these wireless earbuds is not the product so much as they are incompatible with my ears(!?). Absolutely can not keep them in place. I have had other JBL wireless and true wireless that have worked just fine. Well, mostly fine. The reason for this purchase was to replace the pair that fell out while I was running and were ran over by passing car.

Adjust the ear tip angle slightly downward for easier insertion into the ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely to the shape of your ear, and continue twisting it into your ear canal. It is best to try this with all of the provided eartip sizes and powerfins enhancer, until you find the one that accomplishes this most easily. I was on Facebook and saw a deal you had on these headphones. It was a major discount and couldn't pass it up. I ordered them. They came really quickly. They were super easy to set up and I was able to use the Jbl app and connected them with ease. The sound quality is amazing, I really love bass. I own othe JBL products and have always had a amazing sound quality. They only thing I found that stopped me from giving them a 5 star is that they do seem to hurt my ears after about a few hours of use. Tried the different ear pieces, I found the correct fit but still the do make my ears sore. Other then that the batter life is strong. I think for the price probably the best pair of ear buds I have gotten at such a deal.

With TWS ear buds charging issues, it's frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. Please clean the contact points of your earbuds and the charging case using a cotton swab and alcohol. If issue persist, your unit comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, please reach out to our customer support for further assistance.

The bass quality is not as good as other JBL products I own, and the charging box is weird - whenever I put the earphones in the box, they still stay connected to my phone. So they don't go in properly and I always have to double check whether I got them to charge or not. Usually, there is a magnet or something that "pulls" the earphones in the right position without having to work for it.

Your earbuds may not be connected properly with the charging case, we recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

They did feel good at the beginning, but they do come off frequently, and the worst part is that at the moment I'm getting a replacement, because they were reconnecting over and over when they were off and inside their charging case. While wearing them, and using the phone, I did also have inconveniences every 1 to 3 minutes, where there would be a pop up notification displaying the charge in each bud and the case. The quality feels great at first, but the output (volume) did leave me wishing for more, and noise insulation is not that great (I walk a lot in the city). I really hope the replacement changes my perspective, but if everything's good it'd go up to average, and if everything's perfect, it'd be good. I would not rate this product as excellent given the hassle I've been through so far.

Two stars and here is the reason why. Got my earbuds and the left one dies not work, I contacted JBL and tech gave direction on what to do to made them with no luck. Earbuds were return and I am waiting for a respond from JBL. As soon as I get them back I will write a review.
