It is a good frying pan! I tried it to fry meat, cooked eggs, backed nuts, boiled vegetables. It was important for me how well is the food done and if I have problems cleaning it; to look like new, no spots. I am pleased , after trying all the above cookings, that the frying pan is alright.

Who knew a pan could be like a work of art? The feeling of solid quality is evident simply holding the pan. The handle shape and strength is the beginning of your cooking experience with this pan. I'll admit buying pots and pans in the past was a "whatever is cheapest" event. You truly get what you pay for here and it is worth every bit. The quality and strength of the pan is always evident. Completely even cooking across the entire surface makes you realize how bad the pans before it were. Holds heat perfectly. Steaks seared to perfection with our last meal. We now look forward to new culinary experiences with the addition of this pan. Sounds dramatic, but you owe it to yourself to buy a high quality pan like this, the difference is truly inspiring. BRAVO Demeyere! BRAVO Zwilling!

Demeyere cookware is the best of the best. Each size and shape of the vessel is manufactured for optimal performance. Demeyere Essential is an excellent choice for Induction cooktops but also has a superior performance on gas and electric cooktops. Made with 3 layers of heat conducting aluminum and surrounded by Stainless steel, 18/10 on the interior and 18/0 on the exterior these pans will impress even the most experienced home cooks.

Great stainless steel fry pan. The 5 layers heat up evenly and quickly. Excellent browning and searing everytime. Great for frying, sauteing or searing. And you can pop it in the oven to finish something off. Good size and weight.

This pan is made with a 5-Ply construction (layers) and has outstanding heat conduction and retention. It has whats called flatbase technology so pan won't ever warp when heated, even at high heats which is important for a fry pan. It can be used on all cooking surfaces including induction, oven and broiler safe up to 600F. It is also dishwasher safe.

The demeyere 5 line is a superior clad line with stainless and a thick aluminum core. The silvernox treatment is a process which removes impurities from the metals resulting in a shinier and stronger finish. A great size and shape for all your stir fry's, sautes and frying recipes. I use this pan on a regular basis and continue to be impressed by the performance. Demeyere pans are induction cook top compatible which is perfect for me since I use a counter top induction unit to save on utlities. This is a versitale pan that will heat evenly and quickly and remain at a constant temperature throughout the cooking time. Super comfortable V shaped and wide handles will stay cool and are easy to grab. Outstanding pan.
