Q: Will this dehumidifier keep my camper trailer from sweating inside the walls and windows sweat real bad in winter I live in Baldwin County Alabama ?

A: No it helps with dampness, but won’t stop the sweating, vent covers for roof vents helps the most. Leaving vents open stops most of the sweating,and as a added benefit allows heat out during the summer. Same problem. My AC works better with them open.

Q: Can you drain it with a hose or tube?

A: We drilled a hole in the collection tank and inserted a small tube so it could drain into the sink on our sailboat. It worked well for a couple of years and I'm now replacing with the same thing. Actually I don't think it was the dehumidifier itself that went out, but rather the power cord/adapter.

Q: Can this be used in a car? water got in, the carpets were soaked for up to two weeks and there is some mold. I bought another that says to not use it outdoors and not with an extension cord.

We put this in our bathroom because we had so much humidity despite having a fan. This helped a lot and we’d have to dump it weekly because of how much was in there. It suddenly stopped working after 6 months. We felt the plug was superrr hot and the device won’t turn on at all. Can’t even return it at this point

This is a great small size dehumidifier. However, we bought it in mid-March and the water collecting unit already has a crack (late July). The return window has passed so we cannot return or exchange it. It doesn't fully leak (yet) but it's clearly not constructed that well if the plastic is already breaking. We did not drop or do anything that would have caused this break.

I bought this and was happy with it after 3 months of use but the condenser unit stopped absorbing water and it broke. During the time it was helpful to reduce the humidity in the bathroom after hot showers. I'm working with customer service and hoping they can provide me a replacement.

Like all tools, make sure it's rate of pulling water from the air passing through it fits your needs. I am trying to keep a 60sqft closet under 50% humidity. I use a hygrometer that tells me the temp and humidity in the closet. I am better off opening a window and running a fan than using this. Too little air runs through this dehumidifier to make a real difference. For example, it does eventually fill up to 16oz of water...and that takes about 7 days running 24/7. It's like throwing a dry sponge in a puddle--yes, it will absorb water, but no, it will not dry up the puddle. If I don't run this, the closet stays about 60-71% humidity. 68-72% humidity is when clothes and paper feel damp and I worry about mildew growing. If I do run this 24/7/365 then the closet stays about 54-61% humidity. When it's both cold and damp, I still have a problem even when running this machine. It doesn't fully solve my problem. It is a layer of protection against humidity but it doesn't pull enough air to be all that effective. I like the return policy, so if you do buy it, you can run it for 3 days, use a meter, track if it's working for the indended purpose or not. If you're having a real water problem, or drying carpets or anything like that, then you're better off running box fans with an open window, or buying/renting a commercial dehumidifier.

Purchased for my bathroom as we have a walk-in shower. It is the perfect size to hide on the floor. It is very quiet and easy to empty the tank. I wish it had a humidity sensor so it could turn off on its own. You have to turn off and on manually.

I purchased the PureDry Mini Dehumidifier on 12/27/2023. I plugged it in that day, and it has been on ever since. It's in my bathroom, and so far I've emptied the tray twice. The walls seem much drier much quicker after showers. So far, it's doing a good job.
