Q: Is my unit defective? I bought it late July this year and noticed that there is water under my tank when I goes to empty it. Why is there water underneath?

A: Before replacing the water tank, dry the empty chamber below the bucket and ensure the exterior of the tank is dry. Also, inspect the water storage tank for any visible cracks. Be aware that some water may drip from the channel that feeds water into the tank when it's removed. Additionally, make sure your dehumidifier is on a level surface, and avoid tilting or moving the unit when removing the water tank. I'm debating returning this because the warmth output increases my room temperature from 67°F to 75°F. That's when I shut the dehumidifier off. If I left it on, the room temperature rises. If you like this effect, get the dehumidifier to warm your space. I absolutely hate a warm room above 70°F. The dehumidifier does dehumidify. It works. In my case, I need to keep a room climate controlled at 60 to 68°F and humidity below 40% year round. I like the dehumidifier. Just be aware it puts off a warmth that may warm your space too much. Kind of stinks that there isn't a warning. I've never bought a dehumidifier before. I didn't know this type puts off heat. I'm going to have to get a mini split system to climate control this room.

Great for a small space

Wanted a more compact unit that would be less noticeable for a humid living room. This says it was for 2,000 sq ft. Our home is 2,500 sq ft and this barely can keep the living room humidity level in check (for reference our average humidity level in our home was around 55 to 60 so not anything crazy we prefer it in the 40’s) so definitely not for the sqft advertised. With that being said it does pull a lot out of the air in the specific open area we have it in. The bucket needs to be dumped about every few hours or so again this isn’t ideal or convenient at all. This would be great for a smaller apartment or just a single room. We will likely be switching to an another unit personally. But again for a single bedroom it would probably work great!

I absolutely love how easy this system works and the simple maintenance. It has definitely brought help to our AC units, and I’m only sad that I just know figured out that all I needed was a dehumidifier. It’s been a huge blessing, in our home. I will say that the humidity level gauge, is off by a little compared to my AC unit Hydrometer and my own hydrometer. Tho, who knows if the problem could be with both. I actually have two of this units, one for downstairs and the other upstairs. It has worked with keeping both units, to now stay at our desirable temps.

I am impressed with this mighty little thing. I live in a desert climate with low humidity. Unfortunately a water leak in my house increased my humidity greatly. This brought it down within a day, and in two and a half days I no longer needed this. My house can get humid following rain storms which reduces my AC efficiency. I'll start running this during our monsoon rains. I wish it had a bigger tank as it fills up in less than 24 hours for me. I will have to try the hose hookup option. And the wifi is an extra bonus. I can keep an eye on when the tank is full as well as monitor humidity levels. Very impressed all around.

This dehumidifier works well. However, note to anyone who would purchase this, my carpet was saturated under the dehumidifier multiple times. After bringing the dehumidifier on a hardwood surface and watching it run, it was dripping from where the external hose inlet (pictured below) connects. You need to periodically tighten to avoid water dripping from the hose inlet.

Small, quiet and the WiFi feature is a nice touch. It says it is for up to 2000sq ft. We had this in our upstairs which is less than 1000sq feet. It was humid in the 90’s outside. The best this could do was bring the humidity down from 75% to 53% after running on the highest fan setting for several hours. Not bad, but a lower fan speed and I am certain it would not keep up and the humidity would be higher. It seems like this should do a better job and not need to be at the highest speed. This might perform better on not as hot days or in single room. I am also not impressed with the amount of hot air it blows out. It brings the humidity in the room down but increases the overall temperature. I may take this back for a larger and unfortunately more expensive unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Running for 2 weeks, very quiet and effective. Definitely best to run a short garden hose to a floor drain. Fills up the bin 2-3 times a day. at 50% RH, 70 degrees F.

Box was punctured upon delivery. Strong, foul, sickly sweet smell of coolant saturated shipping box. Stunk up the whole apartment. Returned it immediately. The smell took hours to dissipate from home and my hands.

This product seems to be okay. I don’t have another dehumidifier sound to compare it to, but I will say the noise really isn’t bad at all. It also seems to capture water well. However, the humidity sensor built into the unit seems to be off- our hygrometer will read 50% humidity while the machine will say 60%, even though it is set to 45-50%. So I guess it’s nice that it works somewhat? But you’ll definitely need to pair this product with a separate hygrometer. Additionally, the handbook manual gives very vague instructions, and very few, basically no trouble shooting tips. for reference, we correctly let our machine sit upright for 24 bours after it was delivered, and we gave it a raidus of 12 inches of empty space around it. so resr assured, we've set everything up correctly. our default humidity without this thing during the summer time js about 70%, this gets us to 50%, but seemingly no lower. there seems to be no point in making the settings anything other than 50% target, and fan on low.

After a frustrating experience with a smaller dehumidifier from a different retailer I decided to try this one. I’ve been very pleased. My apartment would often be over 60% humidity (even with the small dehumidifier) and this dehumidifier has kept it right around 35% as I set it. Great to be able to set a schedule for it as well via the app. Highly recommend.
