Q: P65 Warning? What part of this product has P65 chemicals? I know it will have very hot water running through it so I want to see if it’s safe to use?
A: Hello Casey - The Prop 65 warning is due to the presence of a phthalate in the hose (to make it flexible). California has decided to add this substance to their list with the intention that people make informed decisions. We adhere to this by adding the warning to our products, but this substance is deemed safe enough to manufacture our products with. If you have additional questions, please call customer service on 1-800-525-2774.
