I felt like they were a very poor design cheaply made. They feel very rickety when I use them. I’m surprised because I really like Rachel Ray and I thought she made quality things or at least backed quality things.

Grind is too fine for the burrs inside to handle. Tall grinder stripped itself in a couple months of use and now no longer grinds. Both spill their retained grounds when set down. These will make a mess, they will break after 3 months, and will make grinding annoying for you.

The salt grinder jammed and stopped working within a couple of months. Threw it in the trash, where it belongs. Even before that it is really difficult to fill. Poorly designed and poorly made. Rachel, how could you do this to us?

Very small and need to be refilled often. The salt comes out the same size no matter how tight I have the grinder set to. The salt comes out in large chunks and is always crunchy.

Keeps falling apart

They look great but they barely work. There is a small metal bit in the top that fits with a metal rod that turns the grinder. The small metal bit keeps dislodging and falling into the salt/pepper. When this happens, the rod won't turn and I have to unscrew the lid and push the metal bit back in - at least once a week! I've tried a few different adhesives to keep it from falling but to no avail. Such a frustrating product.

The grinders were a lot smaller than I was expecting. They are more like mini grinders. One of them has already broke. The wood that they are made of is a nice quality though.

These are very pretty and will be a nice addition to my table. Unfortunately, while the salt grinder worked perfectly, the pepper grinder did not work at all. A quick call to Customer Service resolved the issue, and I am expecting a replacement soon.

Love em! Though I thought the price was high for salt and pepper shakers I needed something modern looking, and large enough that I wasn't going to have to keep refilling every week or so! I've used messy hands to grab them and they clean up great! They grind as expected and don't have any wobbly or loose parts rattling on the grinder. Plus they look awesome!!
