I should have realized all the positive reviews were paid promotions. This doll was so disappointing. The color powder was messy, made the clothes slimy and left absolutely no pigment. We even watched YouTube videos of different techniques and it still didn’t work. My 4yr old had fun but I wished it would have done some of what was advertised.

I agree that the colors that it comes with are nonexistent. They completely do not work, I tried very little water and a lot of product (paste like consistency) and still no color. This was a present from “Santa” and my daughter was disappointed. We decided to get crayon washable paint and water it down in order to paint the doll…it worked great but have yet to try to wash it off. The clothes come off so I am hopeful. We shall see if the washable paint comes off, if not, it was a fun project but definitely not worth $30. Also, the shoes are not paintable even with the washable paint.

So if you find the colors to be dull…try using very little water. We made almost a paste like consistency and the colors were very bright and beautiful. This doll was such a good buy my daughter loved painting her! Only complaint is that I wish the shoes were a different material because the paint wipes right off.

Colors that come with kit are dull and not as pictured on box. The shoes cannot be painted as pictured. The doll is well made and the accessories are cute.

This doll does not turn out anything like the pictures. The colors are so faint and it flat out does not work. Anyone who left a positive review was paid and clearly did not do this. It is false advertising and target should be ashamed for even carrying this. $30 down the drain.

Packaging and assembly are easy. Both kids wanted to play with her. The hair was a bit stuck to itself and took a bit of brushing.
