It’s combining all of her favorite activities playing with dolls, decorating them and painting. She loves to mix the dye and the water. It’s easy to apply and washes off easy. The doll itself is cute and the opposable limbs are a lot fun for her to use during pretend play. FYI it takes a a good amount of the pigment to get a bright color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a detailed description from the kid about this doll.. so the colors cake on and make the hair texture rough, chalky and messy. She tried washing out color first with water than with soap an it the color did not wash out. A good bit of hair comes out during simple combing. She than tried to color the pants purple and the color was very pale. She dumped alot of the purple powder in very little water an it still wasn't as bright as the box description.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall rating from my 8 year old daughter - 7/10. The packaging is very eye catching as are all the possibilities for dyeing the doll's clothes. However, the dye doesnt work as well as it could. You have to mix it in water (either shake the dye powder into water or take the top completely off and add the color). The problem is the dye mix doesnt dissolve well in the water, so its left a bit clumpy. Youd need quite a bit of the powder to get a really vibrant color, but you only have so much in the container. I wonder if you could buy more separately from the doll? The dye and color does wash out easily so that is a plus. Overall, the dye and color process could be improved. My daughter still loves the doll though, even if the dye aspect doesnt work well. I think the dye not working defeats the purpose of this paricular sets uniqueness.
