Easy setup, eliminates measuring. Retracts with ease, however must hold on to it while it retracts. Do not let children close it or retract w/o supervision.

The retractable part is great, the locking mechanism works fine, setup is straightforward.. It's do-able but takes a few tries and my kids have the temptation of to either run into as if crossing a marathon finish line or throw their body into it like a mosh pit. Other than wild children and a tricky latch, It's functional and looks good. It keeps the dogs and kids separate!

This gate is truly awesome. I use it for my closet entry so my curious puppy won't get into anything in there. I like that it has the handle to keep the gate centered when removing it. The instructions were easy to follow. Took away one start because the pull back is so strong and fast! But I manage that but holding it tight, and locking the gate before it rolls all the way back. The price was fair and I think better than most gates out there, that just don't seem to hold out.

This product is great. It looks good. It's functional and durable. Great way to keep your child out of a non-baby proofed room. The retractability is such a great feature because you don't have the large clunky gates around when you want to open up the space so you can move around freely. Plus you don't have to worry about the fit because this is adjustable to any width you need, within specifications of course.
