A: Not 15 watts. I tried them. They won’t melt the wax.

Q: How do you clean the wax once it's melted?

A: A second method for removing wax with a cotton ball, is to drop a cotton ball into the wax while its still melted. It will soak up all the wax. Depending on size of wax cube, you may need two cotton balls to get it all. It should the need for any additional wax clean up be minimal – if needed at all. Just make sure to remove the cotton ball as soon as it absorbs the wax. Probably a fire hazard to leave it in there for too long while plugged in. Hope this helps!

After removing as much wax as possible, take a cotton ball or pad and soak it in rubbing alcohol. Use the alcohol-soaked cotton ball to clean any remaining wax residue or stains on your wax warmer. The alcohol will help to dissolve the wax and remove any stains, leaving your wax warmer looking and smelling like new. Hope this helps! - Kris

Although the light it gives off is really nice, calm, and warm, t’s a little heavy which is why I rarely use it and the cubes probably weigh it down more. Also gets the outlet hot.

This is my second thresholds plugin wax warmer I purchased (my first accidentally got knocked down and broke. Different style) I like how this one lights up quite a bit compared to my old one. Dislike Same type of bulb but noticed this one takes FOREVER to melt my wax cubes and it never melts them completely doesn’t get hot enough. Sometimes I’ll use it without the “lid” to try and make it more aromatic. Just my personal experience.

I never write reviews but this warmer is so bad that I have to give one. The bulb burned out an hour after I plugged it in and literally turned black. I couldn’t find the exact bulb to replace at Target, and I’ve tried two different bulb wattages so far and neither of them have been hot enough to melt the wax. Soooo annoyed and a waste of money.

I saw these online and had my eye on them for a while. Decided to take a chance and so glad I did! They're awesome! I don't know what people are complaining about when they say it takes forever to melt the wax... it's literally a nightlight light bulb, are you expecting it to melt instantly? So yes it takes a while before it even begins to melt, but I put one in my bathroom and put one piece of Threshold wax melt in there and an hour later the bathroom smelled like a Christmas tree even though the wax wasn't fully melted. If this were sold at pottery barn they'd be $50, so at $10 these are a steal! The only thing thst would make them more perfect is if there was an option on the switch for an "auto on/off", like some night lights do when it gets dark enough in the room they automatically come on. But overall, I highly recommend them whether you're looking just for a cute night light or night light wax melt combo.
