Rifle Paper Co. + Venus Pure Honeyflower Shave Cream - 6 fl oz

I was so excited for this, but was majorly disappointed. Bought it because I thought it would smell good and the packaging was cute and also just assumed it would be at least decent since it’s from a razor brand. It comes out of the tube pretty thick, about as thick as (or thicker than) toothpaste. I’ve used thicker creams before so wasn’t too taken aback, but it also was… clumpy? Seems like it was separated so there were thicker clumps and then thinner watery parts. Even after trying to lather up, the clumps would remain. It felt gross and this is probably the most I have cut myself with any shave cream. More moisturizing than nothing, but still not good. One of the more annoying things in my opinion is that the thicker clumps would CLOG MY DRAIN! It would resolve itself after I had water running for maybe 5-10 minutes, but still not fun. Maybe I got a faulty product, but will not be purchasing again to find out.

Glide strip fell off the top on my first trip. Bottom strip is about to fall off. It’s a cute, compact size.

Gets the job done. Doesn’t stay on skin when you put it on. I will be going back to basic foam.

Beautiful, light, creamy floral scent. Worked very well - I’ve faithfully used cremo for 7+ yrs and I will never go back after using this. Excellent!

Smells great, but similar to other reviews, left my legs with a weird texture. Did not have a smooth shave at all. Returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with a sensitive skin type. I adore that this shave cream is devoid of parabens, dyes, and sodium lauryl sulfate. My skin smelled great and I just needed a small amount to shave. It is enhanced greatly by the shea butter.

I cannot stand this shaving cream. It makes my skin feel weird and dry and sticky for lack of a better word. It’s almost like I’m coating myself with a waterproofing material or something…after I put in on water beads up on my hands in a weird way, it almost feels kind of waxy. It’s a nails-on-a-chalk-board kind of feeling for me, not to mention it makes shaving harder which defeats the whole purpose. I can’t even bring myself to use it again and I’ve only used it twice.

Smooth & clean shave. Needs more refills, actually only 1 extra.

Beautiful style and color but the handle is too smooth and slippery. There is very little grip on the handle and it is difficult to hold on to.

Bought this shower hook so my razor had a designated spot instead of just laying on the shelf in my shower. I like it! So far the suction has stayed put.

Smells amazing but does not apply well - clumps up in my hand instead of smoothing onto my legs. Also leaves my legs super dry with a white powdery residue even after rinsing off.

Provides a close shave and doesn’t cause irritation which is great for sensitive skin, but it leaves a residue even after washing off with soap and water. It’s like this thin film that doesn’t budge. Would not buy again because of that reason.

This is the best smelling and performing shaving cream I have ever used! I have very sensitive skin and it doesn’t cause irritation. The smell is AMAZING and I hope they never discontinue this product. I’ve finally found my holy grail!

This hook attaches with a suction cup and has so far held up well in the shower. It's got a pretty floral design. I took off one star because if the razor blades aren't facing out the moisterizer strip around the blades touches it and doesn't dry nicely.

Very pretty razor but the blades do not provide a close shave. Had to shave often. Every time I shaved it irritated my skin >_<

Handle is not comfortable to hold like the original plus it is super slippery I dropped it twice not happy at all .wanted to love it cause was cute,plus seems blades that come with it wasn't as good Humm

It’s pretty, but there is zero grip when wet. I ended up buying a new Venus razor base because I just couldn’t deal with this one anymore.

I bought this for a two week trip and the moisturizing strip lasted through the entire trip. I used it 3 or 4 times with no issues. I love the size and that it has a carrying case. Not having to bring the additional bottle of shaving cream is definitely a plus.
