Q: How long does the spray last before it needs to be reapplied? Thinking about this for stuffed animals and other fabric items our cats love to chew on.
A: Rocco & Roxie Bitter Spray reapplication does depend on the surface on which it is being sprayed and how much was sprayed. A very rough generalization would be about 2 days on fabrics and 1 day on hard surfaces. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team at 1-800-224-7387.

Q: We were told by a dog trainer that spraying or dabbing bitter spray directly in our dog's mouth would help deter excessive barking. Is this product safe to use like this?
A: No, we do not recommend spraying or applying any bitter agent directly in your dog's mouth.
submitted byRocco & Roxie Supply Co. - 2 years agoBrand expertA: No, and as a professional dog behaviorist please fire that trainer. Teach your dog what you want them to do instead, not just punish and tell them to stop. Show them what you want to do instead.

Q: can this be sprayed on plants?
A: Our No Chew Spray doesn’t contain any toxic ingredients to plants, so it should be fine from that aspect. However, some plants are more delicate than others, so you should use your best judgment on the strength and how often you spray the plant.
