I have not unpacked my Rowenta yet, as it is early April and still in the 30s and 40s F. If it is as good as my last Rowenta (That I gifted to my son), it should be fantastic. I will update this once summer arrives.

I have had this fan for 2 years and it has been working wonderfully but it is not a well-balanced design making it difficult to move. The connections between the base and the upper part of the fan are plastic so over time with moving the fan to vacuum the connector loosened and wouldn't tighten well. Recently, I moved the fan and the top portion of the stem pulled to the full height and would not return to the original height which made the fan top heavy and I began to hear a bit of a rattle due to the full extension. This fall when I moved it to storage it came apart and discovered the plastic connector cracked off entirely. I am not sure if the fan will be usable this summer since it is now in 2 pieces. I love Rowenta products but the design of this fan is terrible. I give

Great purchase.Puts out plenty of air. At lowest setting it is silent. Unfortunately we lost our remote. The fan is large but the remote is very compact.

I have had 2 of the turbo silence fans for many years, as well as a Rowenta steam iron, can't say enough good things about their products. I needed a new fan and bought the Extreme, not realizing it has a 12 hour auto-off feature that cannot be turned off. I've had days where I'm not home for the better part of the day during heat waves, and I come home to a fan that shut itself off. Which is frustrating and defeats the purpose. I can't say for sure if this was communicated on the box as i purchased this back in May, but thought I'd put this in the reviews in case it helps someone else. I would have purchased another Turbo Silence had I known as that feature does not meet my needs. Othewise it's a great fan, pushes alot of air very quietly.

I have had this fan for several years and it has worked amazingly. It’s whisper quiet on the silent night setting which I love. However when moving the fan the cheap plastic assembly that hold the fan on the back cracked and as much as I tried to repair it there is no way. So now I’m stuck with a wobbly fan that can not oscillate because the screw is broken off of the plastic assembly. If there was a way to replace this part my fan would still be fully functional.

After almost exactly a year after purchase one of the fan blades broke off. I bought this fan based off of other reviews saying Rowenta made quality products and for how expensive this fan is I was expecting to get more than a year our of it. Unfortunately this will most likely be my first and last purchase of a Rowenta product.

I've had the fan for a year. Print assembly instructions are horrible, and so is customer service. Agents were either under trained or simply rude. No one tells you there are better instructions on YouTube, you have to hunt that up on your own Sent the fan back for malfunction the first month: it made a loud noise when pointing straight ahead, not oscillating. You have to supply the packing material, disassembling it was an ordeal and It took four plus weeks to be repaired. Now it is making a squeaking noise when oscillating. I've searched the manual and maintenance for it possibly needing to be oiled once a year. There is no mention of it. In fact, there isn't mention of much.
Nice...until it wasn't!

I bought this fan a year ago and it’s already broken. The motor started squealing and then it stopped working. Extremely expensive for such a wobbly and poorly designed machine.

Bought 2 at least 4 years ago. Never regretted it. Still working great and so quiet. Sleep mode is a delight. Have two others (American/Chinese) that sound like rooftop air conditioners - occasionally relegated to garage and remote kitchen corner.

Fan is true to its description: powerful, quiet, well-made. I’ve had this fan for 5 years and it still works great. However- I need to clean the fan blades and my fan has a hard rubber ring around the entire circumference of the fan cage and I can’t figure out any way to separate the cage to clean the blades. I’m sure it’s overly obvious but I could use instructions. I can’t find anything online or in YouTube for this exact model (again with a hard brown plastic rim surrounding the fan cage). I’ve unscrewed the bottom screw but that didn’t seem to make any difference. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have two of these fans and both within months the fan blades broke and replacements are shipped from china. motor runs perfect but now need two fan blades fan was expensive to begin with and should never have to replace a fan blade that is ridiculous, i have had several Rowenta items and still have an iron for 20 years, but this fan that i was stupid to buy two, not worth the hassle of fan blades

We found this fan and were attracted to the design. Bought this a week ago and after figuring out how to use it, it is fine except the tilting mechanism is not strong enough to hold up the fan...it always tips down to the lowest position. I don't see any product support on the Rowenta website. Will have to try to figure out something to prop it up to a better position.

After a quick look over the instructions I was able to have it up and running in no time at all. The easy to understand settings and options work great and allow for use with ease and comfort. The high settings really puts out some serious air and it is extremely quiet even on it's high speed. The oscillating function makes it a great fan for air movement all around the room. It is very stylish looking and fits in really nicely with any decor. I highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a really nice high quality fan.

This fan keeps my living room nice and cool especially when its very hot outside.The remote is very nice also. The fan has 5 speed settings the quiet the silent night mode is great also at night. The only problem I have is that you have to get up to make it Rotate.
