Safety 1st Farmhouse Walk-Through Gate (Grey)

In our household with two children, stair safety has been a priority. This gate is designed for easy parent access while remaining child-proof. Its farmhouse aesthetic seamlessly complements our decor, and the no-hole installation was a huge plus for us.

This gate looks SO nice with our decor, I'm super happy with it. It is very sturdy once installed and has withstood our kids and dog without ever feeling like it would fall. The door is easy to open and close, but not easy enough for a toddler to sneak through. I really like the swing stop feature, that way it the door isn't swinging back and forth at all times. The extensions are a major plus.. we are currently using the gate in a doorway, but eventually will be moving it once weather permits for our covered deck, and this allows us to have one gate and not need to have several. Overall super happy with everything! If we do end up needing two gates I'd definitely purchase this one. Highly recommend!

I received this product from the company specifically to try out and review as a product reviewer. Unfortunately it arrived broken in several places. As this product is sold mainly online, it needs to be shipped well protected and it does not. The breaks were across the opening and closing joints rendering it completely unusable.. these areas seem fragile and honestly we may have dodged a bullet here the more I look at it. We were going to set this up at the top of our stairs to keep pets out of upstairs and our young son from falling down the stairs if he came out of the room sleepy at night as he's right next to them. If he had fallen into the gate it looks like it very easily could break in the same spot with little pressure and allow the door to open. Note that I DID also give their customer service a week to reply to my email that their product arrived broken and I'd they could send parts to fix or allow me to mail it back for a replacement just to be able to review a working product. No answer at all other than an immediate we will get back to you soon automatically sent email. I emailed again yesterday to let them know I am required by my job to post the review in a set period of time, still no reply. So buyer beware unfortunately for this gate style. There are cheaper , better built options from place who will respond to issues...

The farmhouse walk-through gate looks really nice and is easy to use. The latch is not overly complicated but keeps the little ones from passing through. The opening at the top is great for little ones to keep an eye out too. I have used others and I would say this is much nicer than any of them.

This walk through gate is very stable and feels like a strong, high quality product. Tge latch is easy to figure out, but not so easy that my toddler will be able to make a break for it. Especially like that there is an additional latch at the bottom of the door on each side for more security. My only complaint is that the instructions regarding attaching the extensions were a little hard to understand. But I got it figured out and all is well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I really like the look of this gate compared to others that are out there. Set up was relatively easy and using the gate is very convenient. No more lifting my 4 yr old over the gate every time he needs to use the bathroom and the baby stays safe!

This farmhouse baby gate was a perfect addition to our house! We have a set of open stairs in our hallway that leads to our basement. This gate has given me a lot of piece of mind that our two year old won't fall down accidentally when she is playing. This gate is a life saver at keeping my baby away from the hallway. We have ours set up right by the garage door and he can't get through. It was very easy to set up. The gate itself is great quality and beautiful to look at. The farmhouse gray color suits my house very well. Easily goes with grays, tans, brown paint colors. The gate is sturdy when applying pressure to the sides. If you don't tighten it enough the gate can be loose so make sure to tighten it just right. To open the gate it's pretty easy, not easy for kids to do. Which is what we want in a safety gate.

This is a unique farm house style walk though gate. IT looks great in my house & matches a lot of my home décor! It was easy to install, its easy to open & close and walk through. The first thing I noticed about this Safety 1st Farmhouse Gate is how much heavier it is in comparison to the more basic baby/pet gates we have in our house. It's certainly made to be sturdy! It 100% meets the farmhouse aesthetic if that is what you are going for. I did find the weathered "wood" parts on the door to be a bit rough in texture. Trying to wipe it clean was a challenge, as my rag seemed to get stuck with the texture. Install was pretty easy and standard. Having the indicator to know if I had it tight enough was helpful. For me personally, I wish it had a built in pet door as we do have cats that like to roam the house freely. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.

Great looking gate. It blends into the background pretty seamlessly. Install was extremely easy and quick, took me about 15 minutes total alone. Only complaint is the latch is a little tricky, but that's a plus if your child is tenacious about opening gates! My 5 year old struggles with it a little.

My opening didn't require the extension because it was less than 32" wide. I was able to remove my old gate and have this beautiful new gate installed in about 10 minutes.
