Q: What is the average life if the led bulb? What is the average humidity level your room will reach assuming the normal weather/humidity is low in your area?

A: Hi there. Thank you for your question. The bulb has a life span of at least a year. Possible average humidity is going to be based on your room size. For 200 sqft this humidifier is able to keep a humidity of at least 60% if desired.

A: Hello there. Thank you for your question. As per the instructions you should always place humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface. A waterproof mat or pad is recommended for use under the humidifier. NEVER place it on a rug or carpet, or on a finished floor that may be damaged by exposure to water or moisture. Be sure to place unit out of heavily trafficked areas and up away from children, pets etc.

Light wasn't too bright. Areas that are impossible to clean and turned orange. A peg on the lid broke after a year and wouldn't seal properly. Must unplug after water runs low. We left the UV light on and you can see the light has brownish marks near it.

This humidifier is great for the fact that it does produce a noticeable amount of moisture. I can feel the difference when using it. It worked great for a couple weeks of consistent use. But, as others have stated, the lights burned out and then one day it just wouldn’t turn on at all. As for those saying there is mold, yes all humidifiers require cleaning. It’s the perfect environment for mold. You should always use filtered water to prevent mold in humidifiers and change the water daily.

It does a great job of humidifying my very dry apartment in winter. It's quiet and lasts a long time; a full tank of water will last a day even on high. But it does eventually start to grow mold. The LED light does not prevent mold growth. I did clean it every couple of days, from top to bottom, with bleach and tiny brushes to get in all the crevices. But it still quickly grew mold each time. I guess there really is no humidifier that truly stays clean.

After accidentally breaking our old humidifier a few weeks ago, this new Stay Clean Humidifier from Stay Clean couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time. With temperatures dipping below zero, this helps keep our properly humidified to help relieve dry, itchy skin (my kids suffer from eczema) and helps keep our noses/throats hydrated which is key during these brutal Midwest winters! I personally love the sleek design and don't mind having this out in my daughter's room 24/7 and the LED technology that keeps our humidifier cleaner, longer means it's one less thing to worry about (especially all the nooks and crannies...our old humidifier...disgusting...even when we tried to clean it manually)!

The unit is larger than I thought it would be. The UV light is very visible as the back of the reservoir has a clear portion. I've had to tape something over the clear part to reduce the amount of light it emits- we keep my daughter's room fairly dark. It is very quiet, though.

I would not recommend this humidifier.I purchased it for my baby's room and I will return it. This light is awful ?? I mean I like the idea that you are not going to clean it but I would better clean it and have an option to shut off this absurd light.We can't sleep it's so bright,it is like a nightmare not a humidifier.Also it's not so quite you can here it bubbling ..was so happy and ended up dissatisfied .

The main reason I bought this unit was because I had a bad experience with a room humidifier in the past with mold. It was very hard to clean mold out of crevices. This unit claims to be designed with less chance of mold trapped in crevices via the sanitation lights and the design doesn't have hard it impossible to reach crevices. Secondly the unit performs well in my bedroom. I own several guitars and I live in Chicago where the winters can be brutal. Guitars need to be in 35-50% humidity. So far it's doing a great job of maintaining although we haven't had frigid temps yet. I like the blue lights. It makes a great night light. It's also very easy to clean. Very satisfied this far.

I would totally have given this 5 stars except that I have to put books around it at night in my kids room because the LED is very bright when it's a dar room, wish there was a cover you could put around the ring of blue at the bottom of the device, something you could attach and remove when refilling. Other thank that, it's great!

I love my Stay Clean Humidifier! This winter it has been a lifesaver for my toddler, he is in daycare and always seems to be catching colds but with adding this humidifier to his room he's been able to breathe much more easily at night. This humidifier has been life changing for us from our previous humidifier that needed to be scrubbed and cleaned all the time and still never felt really clean.
