A: The picture with the set up instructions suggests Frida vapor oil or any other “aromatherapy grade” essential oils.. so I would say yes, but I’m not sure how to determine if it’s “aromatherapy” or not....

I’d love to give a this a great review but I haven’t even been able to use it because every time i try it starts pouring out the water from the sides of the humidifier. I’ve tried to look up if I’m doing anything wrong but every video I watch/everything I read tells me I’m doing everything properly.

The night light is really useful and is easy to quickly touch for middle of the night diaper changes. However, the humidifier most of the time doesn’t work-I have tried cleaning and scrubbing the parts, I have tried different outlets in my child’s room, to no avail. Sometimes it randomly works, but most times it doesn't. What’s even more confusing is the night light will always work-it’s just the humidifier. I’m at a complete loss why the night light will constantly work but the humidifier won’t. Frida Baby’s products usually are amazing, but this has been such a let down-especially when my son is super sick with a cold and needs a working humidifier.

Honestly, it’s such a great little humidifier for a small area. I love that you can add essential oils and the reservoir is decent for the size. The support from Frida is absolutely amazing. They standby their product and provided prompt service when I had an issue!

I bought it about 2 months ago and I used it about 3 times and today I was about to use it and I noticed the vapor wasn’t coming out and it kept beeping. Well I disconnected it and the hole where the wire connects was green and black with what I assume is mold and burnt. And the wire itself was black and melting. Not worth the money and I always loved these products.

The few times we used this before it started molding were nice. Even cleaning it after every use doesn’t prevent the mold. It molds in areas you’re not able to get to because it doesn’t come apart. Ended up returning.

Used with their Frida Baby drops and it grew mold very quickly. We would clean it after every use. The way it is designed makes it impossible to properly clean the inside, and that’s where the mold festers the most. Recommend looking up other people’s mold issues with this humidifier to better understand.

We got the humidifier because of the great reviews and understanding that it wouldn't need heavy maintenance. We used filtered water only and emptied the water well religiously. I was disappointed that we needed to also empty the base, but it was a minor problem. We would let the parts dry during the day before using the humidifier over night. After using the humidifier for just 2 weeks the plug became increasingly difficult to pull in and out and last night stopped working. Looking at the plug and the socket I found that both had become corroded. I don't know why/how a device that is made to create humidity would have a plug and a socket prone to corrosion. We will need to find a new humidifier solution that is more durable against humidity.

I had high hopes for this humidifier. Our son came home from the NICU, and we were hopeful that would be able to help with keeping the air moist for his lungs. Unfortunately, after 5 uses there is MOLD growing in the water container. We, obviously, are no longer using this humidifier. We used the distilled water, as advised, and still it was met with mold. I even tried running the container through the dishwasher hoping it would remove the mold, but was unsuccessful. After doing some research I noticed this is a reoccurring problem. Usually the Frida items are amazing, and overall this IS, but a baby item harboring mold was a major FLOP. I am so disappointed.

I absolutely love this product but what I love even more is the company and it's attention & dedication to its customers. Within 1 hour I had a response to my email about my unit no longer working, within a day they were preparing to ship me another unit, and within a week I had my new unit. I've never seen a company respond so quickly and efficiently and care souch about its customers needs.

Bought with my first son who is now 3, still use it all over the house - my room, his room, even the living room from time to time. Just remember to clean it, and if it ever doesn’t work and just blinks/turns off try a reset (leave it plugged in and on for 5 hours). With a reset and a good clean of any oils/debris in the machine it works perfectly (mind you after 3 years only happened once for me!). All in all so grateful, perfect for my family. Love that I can use essential oils in it.
