Incorrect specification. Weight is not one pound, but rather 5 ounces. Too light weight for warming unit to stay on table. Can easily be pulled from surface with a slight tug on electrical cord.

Hi isa100, Salton's mug warmer model SMW12 is a low wattage, inexpensive way to keep a hot beverage indefinitely warm enough to enjoy. The surface temperature is over 120°C (248°F). Recommend using a ceramic flat bottom mug for best heat transfer.

Was a little skeptical to try this since the last unit I had didn't work very well. It turns out this mug warmer plugs into the wall instead of plugging via USB so it makes a world of difference. I'm so glad I tried it. Now I can keep my Timmies at the perfect temperature.

These mug warmers are a must for any tea or coffee fans! I bought one of these because I noticed my coffee was always getting cold so quickly because I take it with cream. I would get caught up at work and forget to drink my coffee and then when I finally remember it would be disgusting. This Salton product has saved countless cups of coffee! Thank you Salton! Everyone needs one of these. I'm sure I've bought at least 10 - a great gift for teachers, friends etc I leave it on my desk and never have cold coffee. I ve had mine for at least 10 years!
