A: ExpectingMama - Yes, the Q60D has a Sleep Timer. You can set the Sleep Timer to turn off after a set period. Additionally, you can enable Auto Power Off to have the TV turn itself off if there has been no activity for a set period. This is one of your TV’s energy efficiency functions. ~ Samsung Specialist

Disappointing. Sharpness only exists if you are looking straight on. The blacks are grainy and multicolored. U have always enjoyed Samsung products, but this unit falls way under expectation. I would give this unit away if I could afford to replace it. As it sits. I have no choice but to accept it as is.

Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings). I purchased this TV as a replacement to a much older 43" Samsung used for home office use. My primary viewing includes news, financial news, sports, light entertainment, and connection to Zfold5. Just recently I added the 4K viewing option from YTubeTV. I am overly pleased with the picture quality (a Samsung hallmark), ease of menu options, and links to other Samsung products. I look forward to growing my list of accessories (e.g., sound bar) as I see years of good use.

I moved into a new home while movers were loading my SamSung it was cracked. A week later another 85” tv was ordered. I love my Samsung. Never had a problem with the first one. When you find a product that works for you, you stick with it. Quality can’t be beat.

I've had this tv at least 2 months now and I'm very happy with it. The picture quality is great and the controls are easy to figure out for an 80 year old. That was my biggest fear that i wouldn't be able to control it but I am very pleased. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for this size tv.

Have had my Samsung tv for several months even though I didn’t have it installed right away. I paid a IT guy to hook it up and I like the tv okay but I hate the remote. I am 76 years old and I can’t do anything w/ this remote. There are no up and down arrows for sound or channels. It is too confusing for me so I am going to have my IT guy come back out and put my previous tv back up with the remote I can understand.

TV has very clear picture and processes selections quickly. The sound is not as good - often too loud just to hear dialogue. The biggest issue is when watching nighttime scenes, the screen is so dark, can't see anything- none of the picture is visible.

I was kind of skeptical in getting another Samsung TV especially after my previous 55” curve Samsung TV gave up within around 4 years…but his TV seems to work well so far. I like it very much and hope it will last for more than my last Samsung TV.
