A: Schwinn recommends this bicycle for those between 4'6" and 5'6" in height. So you should be able to ride this bicycle, but it might just be on the smaller size. You could also try a 26" bicycle where the height recommendations are between 5'6" and 6'2". You are kind of right in the middle between recommended ranges of a 24" and a 26" bicycle. Probably best if you could go to the store and see which size fits you best.
A: Hi Kelly, The best measurement would go by his inseam length. However, at 5 feet tall, a 24" bike should allow him to mount and dismount comfortably. Thanks, Alex
