this car dash camera keeps rebooting while using, it makes a 16GB micro-SD card full in several minutes. Some recorded videos on SD card are not playable. Definitely there is software issue of writing SD card. Changed another SD card but same issue is still there.

Very cheap quality and it broke by the second day.

None of its settings work. The videos are all locked one recorded, so you have to go in, unlock all the videos, and then you can delete them. The date and time never can stay consistent since the device needs to stay plugged in 24/7. The camera cannot hold a charge for longer than 10 seconds, so it has to stay plugged in. Now only having this thing for a few months, it won’t stop saving the video only after a few seconds. I have it to cycle the recording after 5 minutes, but it won’t stop clipping the video after only a few seconds (I have all the settings turn off, so none of those settings should be clipping / stopping the recording). The memory card fills up fast. The quality isn’t the best, but the thing is cheap.

It is so useless because it does NOT support automatic loop saving. When the SD card is full, you need to mentally delete existing videos.

It was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but they didn’t want it. I didn’t have time to return it, and it eventually became to late to return it. So, I figured, if I have it, I might as well use it. Opened the box, and it was broken. I had kept it stored safely somewhere since Christmas, and it doesn’t work, and the device has actual damage. Complete waste of money. My phone isn’t letting me upload pictures, unfortunately. To sum it up; don’t buy it.

Overall Summary: This dash cam handles very basic recording and snapshots, but I wouldn't consider this high definition video. Consider the video quality when deciding if you want a budget dash cam or want to upgrade for better video quality. Set up: This dash cam was easy enough to set up and get going. The mount is a simple suction cup and has the ability to swivel and adjust to get the right angle and/or placement in the car. The mount can be removed and isn't a permanent adhesive. Ease of Use: The basic modes on the dash cam were pretty simple to access and understand: Video (and one button to do on and off recording), Picture (one button to take a picture), and Playback (options to scroll up and down, and then a button to start / stop playback). There is a menu with options for video quality, date and time, date and time stamps, etc. However, in the playback mode, I found it difficult to identify the different clips. There is a date and time stamp in the lower corner of the video, but in the playback mode on the camera it is illegible (see picture). This makes it difficult to navigate through and identify clips on the dash cam itself. Video / Picture Quality: I was disappointed in the quality of the videos. On the dash cam itself, the playback resolution is low, but I more or less expected this given the small size. When I transferred the videos to my computer, I found that I couldn't make out license plates of other cars in the videos. Some street signs were readable, but most were illegible as well. (See picture for a screenshot of the video on my computer for an idea on the quality). Although the dash cam should show who might be at fault in an accident, I don't think it would be good at identifying a car and/or individual for further investigation in the case of a hit and run. Likewise, individual snapshots were of a similar quality. Taking snapshots with a phone would be a much better option.

I found this really difficult to figure out - I'll admit that I'm not the most tech savvy, but I'm used to products that are much more intuitive. I guess you really do get what you pay for! If you have the time, maybe it will work for you. I don't want to waste mine trying to figure this thing out.

This dash camera does exactly what it says it will do. It captures footage of your ride with minimum set up. It’s nice to have in case you come across a situation, like an accident, where you would want pictures or video. It also would be great to monitor a new driver. I do wish it did a little bit more though, and it would be nice if the camera also had a wall plug or could be used wireless too. Although I do wish it was a bit more versatile as it is a nice, compact size, it certainly does what it promised.

This is quite handy to install and the fact knowing that it gets triggered by motion even when I’m not there is handy and a relief for me. I’m able to transfer the data at ease with no problem able to watch to see if I anything happened prior to me leaving it’s great love it. The quality could be better but for the price range it’s perfect I’m not complaining at all. I love knowing that it records at the wide angle it gets everything in it it’s just what I needed.

Great product. Just installed it on my dash over the weekend so I haven't had a lot of time to play with it, but the recording quality is pretty decent for a device at the lower end of the HD camera spectrum.

I'm a runner and have to park my vehicle at a "trail head"....I've had me vehicle vandalized twice in 6 months....I won't run from lowlife criminals! Beyond involving law enforcement I purchased this car/dashcam and it is very easy to use and understand. So far, so good. I do feel that beyond function, it's presence is a deterrent. I've reviewed the motion sensor video loops and I can see that it works and it is also obvious to anyone approaching the vehicle that the dashcam is operating. I now have peace of mind knowing that even if vandals try something again, I will have video evidence and a solid "leg up" for law enforcement to do their jobs to apprehend these lowlifes.....

Product worked for 2 months then screen went totally white and no longer records... find a better product.

Camera does not work. Recordsed for only a few minutes and shuts off on thr first day. Hasnt worked since. Menu is terrible. Camera is cheap and clunky. Have tried using this for 3 days and have yet to be able to record while driving. Charged it for 5 hours and now the camera wont even turn on. It powers up and dies.
