Screen Printing Craft Kit - National Geographic: Silkscreen T-Shirt Kit with Stencils & Fabric Paints for Ages 10+

It’s a little over priced for what you receive- 1 canvas bag, some fabric paints, a few flimsy stencils, a small screen, a scraper, and some tape. It’s a nice intro to screen printing for younger kids, but if someone is serious about it, this kit won’t keep them interested that long.

This kit is super easy to use. I got it for my 10-year-old daughter for Christmas. It comes with a nice canvas bag to start your first project. I bought a ton of plain T-shirts, bags, and things for her to make designs on. She loves it!

My oldest kiddo is 9 and was really excited to get started on this craft! For the most part he was able to do independently!! Likes: -cute designs (dinosaurs/flowers/leaves/geometric/dog/cat/horse/bird/snake/ocean animals) -easy to use, my son could have used a little help holding the screen while moving the paint(his slid a bit and kinda smudged) -fairly easy clean up, just rinsing the screen clean and wait for project to dry Dislikes: -only comes with one drawstring bag to do as a project, I wish it came with another little project like a zippered pencil pouch or something (but I’m sure I can find an old t-shirt to do another project)

This is a good intro to screen printing kit for smaller items. Good for little kids to learn the process. The instruction booklet is very informative. I wish it had a bit more paint to make it useful for longer before having to buy more.

I was super excited to try this! Sadly upon arrive I realized it’s kind of a one and done Siri on and only makes a small design. The s the screen printer itself is just a wooden square with a very thin screen that is very fragile. You only get one item to screen print which was a disappointed. I would have liked to be able to make more items but the screen is very fragile and cleaning it is almost impossible without it breaking. Was a fun experience but not something I’d recommend for multiple use or to entertain for any significant length of time.

I love these kits from National Geographic. My daughter loves doing anything crafty. This comes with a cute bag that you can screen print on. It looks really easy. It has great instructions too. We love it!

This Screen Printing Craft Kit - National Geographic is awesome! I could remember my father printing tee shirts using the screen like 35 years ago. I’m happy that my kids were enjoying it. It comes with different stencils and different inks. Also, it comes with a painter’s tape to cover the rest of the screen especially if it has other designs that you don’t want to print. I had so much fun teaching my kids doing manual printing. I highly recommend it!

This is so much fun and great introduction to screen printing. My kids and I really enjoyed using this.This comes with step by step instructions that that give a little history about the origins of screen printing and are very easy to understand. The paint transfers easily but can bleed if the stencil isn’t placed correctly, the paint also stains but doesn’t have any toxic smell. It does However wash off hands easily. This definitely a must buy for hours of entertainment
