STORAGE INFORMATION: Our products contain a date code that indicates the date of production, but not “sell by date”. Oven-bake clays, when stored correctly in a cool, dry place, below 77°F and out of direct sunlight, have an expected shelf life of a few years. Shelf life can be impacted by environmental conditions, including heat and humidity, during shipping and storage. We store the clay at Polyform in a cool and dry environment. Improper storage may affect the quality of the clay. One aspect of oven-bake clays is that they react to very warm temperatures. Proper polymer clay storage is essential to freshness. The clay should be stored in a clay compatible container in a very cool, dry place, unexposed to the direct rays of the sun. We recommend containers or bags made out of polypropylene (PP) plastic. Hint: Look for the recycling symbol #5 on the bottom of the container. DO NOT store in a hot environment above 77°F. DO NOT store in direct sunlight. DO NOT store inside a car. Make your craft supplies shopping your last stop. Store the clay in a cool, dark and dry place. Polymer clay can be stored at low temperatures with no ill effects to the properties of the clay. Tip: Refrigeration or freezing can extend the shelf life considerably. In the summer months, the clay may become partially cured if your climate is very hot and your house is not air-conditioned. Improper storage may affect the quality of the clay. One aspect of oven-bake clays is that they react to very warm temperatures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much more pliable than earlier versions of Sculpey clay (which were pretty good to start with), yet still able to hold surprisingly well in gravity-defying forms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an earring artist with polymer clay this is not the best for making earrings, but if your sculpting something it would work wonderful

Amazing colors and plenty to work with. First off I forgot how much fun it is to play with clay. When I first opened Sculpey I had a flashback of playduh from childhood. The mix of colors that is listed to purchase are great. And mixing to make new colors are creative and interesting. The biggest surprise is you never know how things will come out. Sculpey 3 is my first play with the product. After reading the reviews about the others I wanted to try 3 myself. It’s easy to maintain, if there was a sticky issue I also purchased the Thinner that helped along the way. To me Sculpey 3 is about making it your way. I plan to create more ideas and neat designs with Sculpey.

Have ordered several times in the past and have always been pleased with quick shipment. Sculpey III is easy to work with. Our most recent order arrived with almost every package of clay squished. The shipping box did not have similar damage. Fortunately, the wrappers were still intact, so clay is still usable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was released years ago, but as an improvement to the original. I grew up playing with the original and created many things. I think version III cracks a little less than I remember, so it helps projects stay together better. And that's kind of important.

Prob my favorite sculpty becuse it's reasonably prices and a good blend of easy to work with yet durable. I have spent many years buying this clay and will likly spend many more. If I had a wish for the clay it would be for the red clay to stop staining my fingers, but it's worth it. 10/10

I’ve been making clay figurines for over a year now. I started out using sculpey & have stuck with sculpey. I’ve tried other clay brands but nothing really comes close to the quality that sculpey has & there aren’t as many colors to choose from with other brands. I’ve built a small business for myself using sculpey & will continue buying sculpey forever!

This clay is really sticky and it stays brittle and breaks easily after baking. Not recommended.
