I had a lot of the original clay that I used with my Kindergarten students. They used the clay to make aliens. I loved that the clay does not dry out and that even little hands can mold it!

Ive been working with sculpey since the 80's . It's my goto clay for all my projects. Bought all new supplies recently. And when i started using the sculpey it was mind baffling. Set out with a project in mind ...but so many ideas come to mind. Practicing self control makes for perfection when you stay focused. But boy is it ever hard😅

I love the Original Sculpey Granite as it is easy to work with and mixes well with any of the other Sculpey clays. I make fairy garden houses and doors - Sculpey Orginal Granite gives them an authentic stone look.

I feel I release the interesting characters in this clay. It’s easy to work with and quickly gives up the art inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been working with different polymer clays for years, but I love working with Sculpey the most! It is so versatile. I’ve made dolls, jewelry, beads, and more. My grand kids love making crafts with Sculpey. It is so easy and fun for them. I have made shapes with sculpey by hand and used it in molds. Sculpture is such a wonderful art media to share.

I use the white original Sculpey as a base for my color mixing experiments. It also works well as an accent color/segment when I am marbelizing, layering, creating a confetti like slab, etc.
I love the beige color original sculpts BEST....

I love to try and sculpt things. I find it so much harder to use clay! It cracks so easily... even though it's a little more money... my little sculptures last and are so much easier to create! Thank God for this wonderful clay! It makes an amateur look like they know what their doing! LOL

very soft, gooey, low quality clay. good for children, bad for professionals. if using it professionally, mix with other clay that's higher quality, like souffle or fimo

I have been using the Original Sculpey for over a year now for Christmas ornaments, miniatures and jewelry. I very much like that it can be formed into anything that I can imagine, painted, tinted...anything that works with polymer. I also have a granddaughter, age 11, who has started making items with the Polymer Clay. It's easy on the hands, too!
Love it
