So far I've put 100 miles on mine and it's definitely worth the money. I wouldn't commute farther than a few miles on this at a time but here's a few things I've noticed. It's extremely well built and feels high quality. I can get 8 miles on 1 charge and that's usually going top speed. My brakes were horrible out of the box, but are easy to tighten and customize. The lights are very bright and at night the headlight is more than enough for lighting the road. It's decently fast, but not enough to really ride on the road with cars, or really even in a bike lane, this is better for sidewalks. It doesn't have suspension, but the tires are good for absorbing bumps. Use your big grown up brain and be safe, but otherwise if you're looking for a seriously great last mile solution this one's great.

This is DANGEROUS! I went flying over the handlebars and wiped out -face first- on the pavement. I am an experienced rider! The brakes are absolute garbage, the stem is hopelessly wobbly, and the TINY tires are crap too. Please, avoid this, especially if you’re planning to purchase it for a child!!!!!

After reading a lot of reviews I chose this scooter as a complete beginner. I had never ridden an electric scooter before, but really needed one for my commute. The specs said that - Max Speed: 15.5mph Max Range: 15.5 miles I weigh 160lbs, 60lbs less than the max weight, but the scooter doesn't go faster than 9mph (flat surface, slight hill..doesn't matter, 9mph is the max speed) I'd say the max range is closer to 10 miles. I need it to go about 4 miles each day (2 in the morning and 2 in the evening) and after 2 days the battery is down to 1 bar which is why I'm guessing it wouldn't make it too much further. I still definitely recommend the scooter, just definitely consider what your needs are!

I bought the kids Segway for my son's birthday, and it was such a hit that I got this one for the older kid. I've bought other scooters in the past, but I am so impressed with the quality of Segway. Even us adults can ride them comfortably and enjoy the thrill as much as the kids. This is a must buy.
