Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum toothpaste has a low abrasion cavity protection formula to protect your teeth against tooth decay. Directions adults and children 12 years of age and older: apply at least a 1-inch strip of the product onto a soft bristle toothbrush, brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute twice a day (morning and evening), and not more than 3 times a day, or as recommended by a dentist or doctor. Q: I've been told that sensitive toothpastes should have potassium nitrate. Am I wrong? This product only mentions sodium flouride as an active ingreedient.

Made my gums burn and feel sore, went to the dentist thinking something was wrong and they couldn’t find anything. Stopped using this toothpaste and eventually the feeling went away. Ran out of my usual and started using this again and immediately the burning sensation came back!!! Never had any issues with toothpaste before but I will definitely not be repurchasing this.

however Sensodyne products have been well known but WATCH OUT! they can cause extreme gum hyper sensitivity or allergy which is one of the rarest and severest one in medicine which is hard to treat with swelling, bleeding in an extent that need to taking biopsy and make you burden a lot of cost( which came up to me!). I think it is because ,there are a lot of advertisement behind them by dentists ( unfortunately) and people trust them and it may hurt people's health .

According to my dentist (thanks for the extra unnecessary appointment, Sensodyne!), this has SLS which should not be used for sensitive teeth. Tl;dr Instead of helping with sensitive teeth and gum problems, this toothpaste has now given me sensitive teeth and gum problems after a week of use.

Caused terrible swelling and sores inside my upper lip/lower lip, and on my tongue. Thought it was a fluke so waited several days and tried again. I had the same issue but worse this time. I have used other Sensodyne products and never had issues. I returned this one.

I've always used Sensodyne products without issue, but this toothpaste has left me with irritation and mouth ulcers after one use. My tongue is swollen and skin is peeling from inside my mouth. Swallowing is difficult. It's so painful! I'm not sure how this product remains on sale.
