I thought this game would be easy, but boy were my kids and I surprised! It was very helpful that this game had separate starter set to learn how to play the game. My 7 year old struggled with gameplay some but between a few practice rounds and points lost for incorrect sets, she was able to keep up well. I love that my kids and I are having fun while using their brains. My kids don't even realize it's a brain game! They have asked to play everyday since we brought it home.

Great game for older kids and adults. It was fun to see my 5 year old start to see the patterns but it was definitely too hard and didn't keep his attention.
Enjoyable game that also helps in learning details

I received this game in exchange for an honest review. My daughter is 10 so I will be including her thoughts on it too. Once we figured it out, we truly enjoyed the game. I didn't quite understand the rules just reading thru them and I wasn't sure what we had gotten into. The package has the cards divided up into a small deck and then the rest of the cards, this was a fantastic idea!!! When we got out the small deck and played along while reading the rules that changed our attitude about the game completely!! We ended up thoroughly enjoying the game and have gotten it out a number of times now. She is looking forward to teaching her cousins and taking this game along on trips in our camper. When I asked her how she would rate the game she said "I'd give it a 10 out of 10!" I said it only goes up to 5 stars so she told me to give it all 5! I also like it because you have to look and pay attention to details and this is helpful in many learning aspects. I feel that this is actually going to be beneficial in a learning capacity for her.

I had never heard of this game or played it before, but we often have family game night after dinner and are always looking for new things to play. This game took a little bit to fully understand for all of us - ages 6 to 56, but once we got the hang of it, it was really fun figuring out matches and uses our brains. My husband was probably the best at figuring out what made a “Set”, but my 6 year old had a lot of fun trying to make matches or understand why three cards were not a set. Overall, I think this is a fun family game once you understand all the rules, and we will definitely be playing this more and even taking it with us when we travel!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. My daughter really enjoyed the game and the laughs we had with trying to explain our matches to one another. As a parent I enjoyed that she needed to use deeper thinking to find the not so obvious sets. It challenged her to a deeper thinking.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This game is so much fun! My kids absolutely loved it. The best part is that my 6 year old had as much fun with it as my 9 year old and my 11 year old! We love card games and this has quickly become one of our favorites! Be prepared that the first time you play might feel a bit confusing. You figure it out quickly as you play though. It’s one of those games where the rules are best understood as you play. I definitely recommend it!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. We had never heard of this game before we got it to review. The kids and I had lots of fun playing this. We have played it multiple times. The kids keep begging to go play it because they are having so much fun with it. It stays out in the living room so they can grab it and play it whenever they want. This is an easy game to play but you have a lot of different ways you can win it. They really enjoyed the fact that you didn't have one set thing you had to do to win that you could choose multiple sets to equal a winning group.

SET is such a fun game to play! My seven year old loved it and my almost five year old was finding sets too! You only need to remember one rule: each set is either all the same or all different! This would be a great game to play in the classroom. The game is about finding patterns: what math is about!

I've been playing set since 2014 when a friend introduced it to me. Since then I ALWAYS bring Set with me to any sort of friend gathering or party. I am TERRIBLE at explaining the rules, but it is so much fun. I've met a lot of friends through just throwing Set out on the table and going through practice rounds. I really recommend this if you are great at visual perception games!!

As a learning specialist, I focus on installing literacy, numeracy, and logic into the individual human brain. What's my starting point? SET! In 22 years of playing it, I've never been bored and every one of my learners has loved it. Post-assessment results convince me that playing SET raises IQ in addition to building a foundation of nonverbal, logical thinking.
Fun, quick game!

Set the best card game ever. Those who don’t love it probably don’t truly understand it. Play Set with someone who really gets it at first so you can appreciate its brilliance and learn to play.

We were gifted this decades ago by my brother's family. We had small kids at the time, and we felt sorry for them, because they weren't very good, but that didn't last long. Once they got the hang of it, I don't know if we ever beat them again...kids are so much faster than adults! We had many good times playing this game, and all four kids were home tonight, and after a family dinner, they wanted to play SET. Good times.
