Sharper Image Realtouch Shiatsu Wireless Neck and Back Massager with Heat - Gray

I was so excited about this massager that my husband got for me, for Christmas. However, after a four months of occasional usage (maybe once a week), it stopped working. We kept it in a safe place, out of reach of pets, children, and liquid and only charged it when the battery light indicated. The only explanation that I have, is that it has a short in it somewhere. Unfortunately, it seems like we were just shy of our return window. I am beyond disappointed.

The massager feels nice but it is really bulky and heavy and I didn’t like how I had to hold it on my arms while it massaged my shoulders. It created arm fatigue. It wasn’t very relaxing for the back either.

I like that I feels like real hands massing my shoulders and back. And the straps make it easy to control against any areas on your body. The only thing I dislike is how heavy it is. But how much it has help my upper back, neck and shoulders , I wouldn’t care how heavy it is.

I love this massager. It gives you a deep tissue massage. I bought this massager to work out the tension in my neck and shoulders. However, I use it on other parts of body. It works great on any part of my body. I love the heating and different mode settings. The next best thing to a masseuse.

I bought one of these for my dad and it was such a hit I ordered 2 more, one for my husband and one for my brother. It it definitely a deep tissue massage, there’s no “light touch” mode on this one.

I had to buy this item twice because the first one broke on the first use and I assumed that it was just an open box. But the same thing happened on my second purchase. Super disappointing!!

I disliked that it has to much of a curve to it . it needs to lay flat a bit more so it hits alot of the muscles that I need it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This massager is pretty good so far - easy to use as it's wireless and it massages pretty well too. The pressure isn't too strong/weak for me personally - the only thing I might note is that the heat isn't THAT hot, so I took off a star.

It is overall pretty comfortable and did help with my neck pain after a long shift. Writing this reviewe I honestly want to go grab it and use it.

If anyone is looking for a relaxer look no further and buy this! One of the best purchases ive ever made! It really helped my sore neck and shoulders alot.

The massage nodes are not well padded! It felt good the first few minutes. But, after using the item on the lowest setting it felt like pinching and aching pain to my muscles and skin kind of like a pressure sore forming! I used the lowest setting on my shoulders/neck and then back which gave me the same outcome. When I was done I checked those areas and they were red!!! BTW You can use the item for only up to 15 mins at a time. I returned the product the next day and I am still feeling sore and raw!!!

This past year seems to have intensified that, and an at home option for relief became a priority. This massager has several important features: heat to encourage relaxation, 3 massage modes, and a reverse option. That makes 12 different options to customize a massage and infinite ways of placing the massager. The fabric feels soft yet durable and looks nice. The motors are fairly quiet - I can easily use the massager while working on the computer, talking on the phone, or lounging and streaming shows without being distracted. And it's not just for the neck and shoulders! I tweaked a muscle under my left shoulder blade while gardening, and the muscle tension the next day made it hard to move or breathe comfortably. In the before times, this would have led to several sessions at the chiropractor. With nothing to lose, I laid face down with the massager literally just draped over that sensitive spot and tried to relax for a bit. And it did the trick!! The muscle released and the pain was a distant memory. That session alone made the massager worth it, but I think this will continue to be a household favorite for a long, long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shiatsu heated neck and back massager is pure heaven. At first it did hurt during usage but that’s because my neck was so tense. The deep tissue kneading action worked its magic and the stiffness and tense muscles in my neck basically melted away. My husband doesn’t like it very much he says is too overpowering and that the kneading grabs to much. It is a little heavy and is awkward to sit with during use but I found that if i place a small pillow on my lower back during use on my neck it makes it less awkward. Also love the fact it can be cordless
