Sharper Image Toy RC Aeroboost Racing Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this drone it was very easy to get set up to start flying. The grand kids even took turns flying it. It flys smoothly and is very easy to control and maneuver around. It would absolutely make a great gift for someone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a light weight drone.feather lite.plug it in a letvit charge over night. And put double AA Batteries in the remote. It is very touchy, getting it up. We have crash it a few times. So it is durable. Just make sure you read the instructions . To explain it all to you. Makes it a little easier. It hours of fun. Doing flip and all. It sure is a hit here.

The propellers in the front should probably have a guard on them like the back ones. We got our fingers clipped several times. This drone is very light weight and should probably be used inside to avoid damage of the drone. Thank you for allowing us to try this product out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so excited and when I got this out of the box, the fun started it up a little bit. The USB put in the batteries in the remote and I was off to the races took a little bit to get used to but all in all it’s pretty easy to get used to. I was off and find another time I didn’t have much experience at all the flying drones before this. In fact, the only life experience I had, didn’t go so well at this time. Yeah, it was great time and I didn’t have any problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my son a few weeks ago and he absolutely loves it. He's been wanting a drone for awhile. He wanted one for Christmas but it was snowy and cold so I didn't get it. I seen this one and just had to finally get him one. He loves it!! We practice in the house and he's so good at flying it, he's 7. I like that you can just plug it in and charge the drone itself. The controller takes 4 double A batteries. This is such a fun toy for kids. Cool colors and easy to hook up and control.

This drone is a good size for kids allowing them to be responsible and have fun. The LED lights make it fun and easy to see. The auto pilot feature is good to be able to watch and enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start off by saying the battery life is pretty decent, but it's super flimsy and just isn't made well. It is easy to control and goes pretty high up. It's decent for kids that want to learn to fly drones, but it's not going to last long. I'd probably recommend in the right circumstances but would warn on the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my family’s 2nd drone so we’re still newbies but wow we were impressed with this model. First off, you get hours of flight time as opposed to our first drone would conk out after 30 minutes of usage. The single button auto landing feature is amazing and actually works perfectly. Pretty neat to see drone take high to the sky then glide straight down to the ground for a perfect landing. There are several lights on the drone but we haven’t tested it flying at dark. The only downside is that the drone itself seems a bit flimsy right out of the packaging. We caused a few bumps and had some rough flights but it’s managed to hold up but who knows for how much longer.

The controls are pretty easy and smooth operating and is not so complicated a 4 year old can run it. It’s pretty quick and has a pretty good distance. The only down fall is battery life is kind of short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone is much easier to fly than others we’ve used. Out of the box, pairing was easy and it was in the air in minutes. Fun for around the house. Light weight. It is toy quality, I don’t expect it to last but I would recommend for the experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what to expect for this drone since it's my first one. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt I guess? First, it was very difficult to unpack. Zipties, tape, and molded plastic hold the drone in its toy style box. Getting it free, I noticed how light and flimsy it felt. Which makes sense, it does have to fly after all. But, I also notices one of the plastic grating pieces had broke during unpacking. So, perhaps to flimsy. Flying it was certainly a challenge. If this is your first drone, I guarantee it will be for you too! After some learning curve, I will confess it is very fun to use. This particular model boast five hours of fly time per charge and a max altitude of 45 feet. So I concur that it is built for racing as advertised. All in all, I enjoy it. And while it felt advanced for a first timer, I know that this has to be more entry level due to the lack of camera and travel distance. Not bad for a young aviator though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It goes pretty high up over my house and a nice distance down the block. My grandkids love it, and it's easy enough to use. Pretty well-made to because I've crashed it a few times, and it's still working awesome. The flight assist helps a lot. It's also very nice, it has the auto stabilization and the auto orientation.

He is a fresh teen and has had drones in the past but usually got a little frustrated as the landings were not so easy for him and usually something got broken on it. Not this one! I was a little nervous watching him fly it as it does go very high and speeds nice but when I saw him click something and the drone come straight down to him I knew this one was great! We live in a spacious area so night flying is fun for him as the lights are very entertaining. I'd recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Drone Aeroboost Racer made by Sharper Image is so neat. The kids love to play with it. It seems fairly easy for them to operate with adult supervision. It keeps them entertained as long as the battery will last.
