Q: My bottle had a very thick, lotion consistency. Was hard to pump and once on did not glide on my hair at all. It was like putting actual body lotion on my hair. I had to rinse out with the shampoo. Did i just maybe get a bad batch?

A: We do not make a Tear-Free claim in our products at this time. However, our products do not contain any synthetic ingredients, such as synthetic alkyl polyethoxylates and/or alkyl phenol polyethoxylates, which can be common in tear-free shampoos. Our products are formulated to be gentle on baby’s delicate skin, using natural, certified organic and ethically sourced ingredients that soften and smooth with scents specially created to soothe and calm baby. SheaMoisture collections do not contain any parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffin, formaldehyde, miner oil, petroleum, DEA, silicone, synthetic fragrance or artificial color. We use a derivative of coconut oil to lather on baby’s delicate skin. When using this product, a slight head tilt back should help to keep these products out of their eyes.

A: No but I leave my little ones hair in twists with the conditioner in it and rinse it out while in the twists. That way I rinsed it out mostly but still kept some of the slip it provides. Because of that simple step, styling is a breeze for me and my toddler who has A TON of hair! Hope that helps.

This seems to just disappear into the water. It doesn't coat the hair to make it easier to detangle and leaves the hair more knotted. We're throwing it away.

Ugh when you’re a mom you need convenience and a sure thing. I hate products that have a good price but it’s due to skimping on packaging. Pump wouldn’t open from the get go. Had to find another one in my house that would fit so I could try this stuff out. I’d rather pay a little more for better packaging. I put three pumps in my daughter’s straight hair and then left it on while she bathed. Think it absorbed in as not much rinsed out. Her hair was not tangly or matted as some have said. I used it after the shampoo of same kind. Also I like the smell. I don’t think it’s too much, I like that it got rid of stinky kid smell haha.

The smell was the real reason I got this product from the start. After using it on my daughter’s hair, her hair was so soft. She has thin hair and it doesn’t ale her hair greasy. The price is great too!

I really like this conditioner. It had clean ingredients, works well, leaves my daughter's hair silky soft and smelling amazing. I love that it has a pump top so I can pump some out one handed. The only downfall is it is THICK so it takes quite a few rinses to get it all out. It would probably be easier to rinse out in a shower, but my daughter still only tolerates baths.

It doesn’t work as conditioner should. It’s extremely perfumey, does not leave my daughter’s fine hair smooth, it actually makes it mor matted and tangled somehow. Would not recommend.

I tried this yesterday on my toddlers hair, it didn't wow me as the hibiscus and coconut conditioner. I used a generous amount for each section, I was able to finger detangle but it wasn't moisturising or felt soft. I will try it again. I might just use it as a leave in.

Both my children have fine but curly hair. This works amazing at hydrating their hair without weighing down the curls. It doesn’t have an overpowering scent but just enough if you get close for snuggles.

This conditioner does a great job softening and smoothing my children’s hair. But it’s very difficult to get the product out of the bottle because the pump doesn’t work.

Product was so chunky & did not lather well at all. Made my 3 kids hair very greasy. Tried using just a little & it didn’t make much different. The scent wasn’t the greatest either. It seemed like a great product so I was disappointed.

This product works wonders for my kids hair. I just wish I can find the bigger bottles all at one store in one town. I love it so much I will go as far as asking relatives to buy the bigger bottles at their local store out of town. Unfortunately at times it wouldn’t allow me to order online only in store purchases.
