I love this product for my son. He has really thick curly hair and after a good wash it leaves his hair so soft and smelling really good. Also very easy on the eyes for the little ones. I pair it with the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie after wash. This leaves his hair moisturized and smelling amazing.

This product was extremely drying. Both of my little ones have curly hair, and after using this product, their hair was more prone to breakage. I don’t recommend it.

I like the fact that this does not have alot of ingredients as that normally means things that are not great for hair and that's especially important for a shampoo for my kids hair. That being said, I got this 2 in 1 because I had seen some good reviews and i figured it would save time as you can imagine a toddler wouldn't want to sit still for too long. I found that it lather's up alot and so seems like more shampoo than conditioning and it does kinda leave my kids hair kinda dry. I have read that they may have changed the formula because it never used to be this way, so maybe that's it. I still will buy this for now, but I may try a separate shampoo and conditioner instead. I do like the Shea Mositure brand generally .

I don't think I have wanted to just throw a product in the trash after trying it, but unfortunately I had to for this after 3 tries. It felt like it did nothing to my daughters hair and didn't make any suds or anything. It just tangled her hair even more. The only positive is that it smells good.

We love this shampoo. My daughter has very fine & curly hair, when we use this product it immediately helps to detangle her hair. It smells so nice, which is a bonus. It’s a thicker product so it can be hard to get out of the bottle towards the end but it’s a minor complaint. Well worth the product for it’s price !

I wanted to like this shampoo/conditioner but it is a horrible formula. I use some of the SheaMoisture products for my daughter's fine curly hair and a long as I use a little it is great for her hair. I used this Shampoo/conditioner on her hair for about a month. I has great slip and appears to be highly moisturizing, but it was cause her hair to get knotty while trying to brush and it made her hair feel stiff...it's weird to explain. I have noticed that the more wash days we use it those symptoms seem to increase. And it's only while the shampoo/conditioner is in her hair...once it's washed out her hair seems to go back to normal. I do not know if it was causing her hair to be dry, but I noticed a huge difference when I washed her hair with another product (not your mother's) that had medium moisture. With a different shampoo & conditioner her hair seemed to curl more and seemed healthier. I am very disappointed in this product by SheaMoisture....I love their other products and will continue to use it. I really wanted to give it a fair chance and after about a month I just didn't want to ruin my daughter's hair. Something to note, in the very first and maybe second wash everything was fine.... but the more I used it the more these things seemed apparent.

I’ve used this product for over a year and it has been perfect. Suddenly this last bottle is way more sudsy. I compared to the last bottle and yup the ingredients have changed. My kids hair was left super dry when before it was so gentle and soft. Please bring back old formula. Hate having to look for something else.

If you bought product, RETURN IT!!! I have been using this product for my daughter for two years, she’s blexican (black and Mexican) and it always made her curly hair curly unlike other products I used, because she has loose curls. Some would weigh it down too much. So it was my favorite to use on her hair. But then this product changed their formula, and dried it out too much and tangled my poor baby girls hair. I’ve never had to use so much leave in conditioner on her hair before. I will NOT be buying this again. And I don’t suggest anyone else either.

Very disappointed in the formula change… been using on my daughters hair for 2 years now with no issues. New formula does nothing but tangle and dry out her hair. So upset! Will be throwing in the trash. Please bring back the old formula.

New formula is terrible compared to the old one. The salon used to always comment how soft my daughter’s hair was & this new formula is extremely drying & leaves hair tangled. Such a disappointment in what was a great product.

I’ve been using this product in my kid’s hair for 4 years. I just restocked and noticed that it now lathers. I wouldn’t mind except it also now leaves their hair super dry. I compared the label with my previous bottle and sure enough, the ingredients changed. It’s very disappointing as the old version was great. I will have to look for a new product.
