Q: Hello! Can the mold be used in the oven to cook things in? I bet the lid can not go in, but it seems like maybe the ice cube tray could. If so, any temperature restrictions?

Q: Trays now smell & ice has an unpleasant taste. I read 1 hr in oven at 350 should get rid of it. Are these safe to do that or should I trash them?

These are perfect for tiny freezers in a mini fridge, campers, or for anyone who just wants to conserve some space in their freezer. They are a bit difficult to move from the sink to the freezer but supporting the bottom with your hand or even a tray makes it easy. They don't take up much room at all. I have 4 stacked & it takes up less room the huge standard ones that have the breakable plastic. With stacking them, I did wait for the top one to finish freezing before adding another to the top but love having the 4 so there's always ice. I've only used for ice but I might end up using 2 to make shower melts where they are silicone. They are also great for smaller tumblers & bottles.

The only good thing about this is that it is pliable; however, there is no way you can stack them. I purchased 6 of these hoping to replace my old ice cube trays and then found out that they cannot be stacked unless you alternate one way and then reverse. Not worth it, plus it takes up too much room.

Was really excited when I ordered my Silicone Ice Tray (it was going to be for my "fancy" drinks!), but now, I just want to throw it, hard, at a wall. Amen for exploring hopefully safer and eco-friendlier alternatives for cocktails, but this tray is ridiculous to try to fill. It lacks the little side slots that trad'l trays have, so I have to very slowly, very carefully fill each individual space. Else, water runs everywhere. Secondly, the cubes don't even last as long! Boo.

I only needed a small gray tray like this one to use for coffee ice cubes during heat waves or whenever and this one is perfect. We just got started with our first PNW heat wave this year and it arrived today and I already filled it with coffee. The ice is not set yet, but I'm sure it will be wonderful tomorrow, with little staining of the silicone. If I wanted to, I could get the black tray so I couldn't see any stains which may come up, but I think the gray one will be fine. I'm very pleased with this little ice tray and I highly recommend it!
There's some kind of coating that comes off into the ice and leaves a lot of visible flakes in the water. Used a couple times before noticing. Thanks a bunch, Target!
