Q: Is there a shortage of Similac 360 Total Care?

submitted by SR - 3 years ago
  • A: We see and hear the anxiety of parents who are facing empty shelves, and we are doing everything we can to get more formula to families. Abbott is producing Similac from a number of our manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and overseas, and Similac can be found on shelves already in many cases. -The Similac Team

  • A: Yep, it's the worst I've ever seen.

    submitted bycassjenks07 - 3 years ago
  • A: I have spent the past week looking everywhere ( in stores and online) for this particular formula, unfortunately for me no luck.

submitted byOA - 3 years ago
  • A: seems to be. I cannot find it anywhere within 50 mile radius

Q: can I use a bottle warmer for this formula

submitted by Kyle - 3 years ago
  • A: If you want to warm the bottle, place it in a bowl of warm water or hold it under warm tap water. Shake the bottle gently and then test the temp, making sure it's warm and not hot. Don't ever heat the bottle in a microwave because the formula can get hot really fast and burn your baby's mouth. - The Similac Team

Q: What if I buy the 8oz but break them down in 2oz will make be good stored and or how many days

submitted by Joe - 3 months ago
  • A: Great question! Once the 8 fl oz bottle has been opened and poured into your baby’s clean bottles, both the formula in your baby’s bottles and any left in the 8 fl oz bottle should be refrigerated immediately and used within 2 days. -The Similac Team

Q: Do the nipples come with the ready to go similac 360 bottles or do we need to purchase separately?

submitted by Ss - 6 months ago
  • A: No. Many nipples available in retail stores may fit our 8oz bottles. You may want to look for the words "classic" or "standard" on the package. We've also heard from other parents that they were able to re-use nipples from a bottle they already had, so that could save you some time and money! -The Similac Team

Q: What kind of nipples are compatible with these bottles? (There are so many out there, the ones we use from advent do not fit… just wondering, as these bottles are part of our emergency go bag)

Q: Is it okay to store unopened bottles in the fridge? Or do they need to be used within 48 hours because of the temp?

submitted by Kelly K - 10 months ago
  • A: If the container is still sealed, the most desirable range is between 55 & 75 degrees F, but the acceptable temperature range is between 32 & 95 degrees F. You might notice changes in the way it looks or tastes if exposed to really high temps so it's best to follow these guidelines. -The Similac Team

Q: once this bottle is opened does it have to be consumed within 24 hours?

submitted by Atl liv - 2 years ago
  • A: Great question! Once the 8 fl oz bottle has been opened and poured into your baby’s clean bottles, both the formula in your baby’s bottles and any left in the 8 fl oz bottle should be refrigerated immediately and used within 2 days. Hope this helps! - The Similac Team

Q: Can I place one of the single use nipples on the top of the bottle to feed while out

submitted by mom on the go - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, you can! Just keep in mind, if your baby doesn’t finish the bottle of formula within one hour, throw it away. When a baby starts drinking from a bottle, bacteria that are naturally present in your baby's mouth enter the bottle through the nipple hole. If any formula is left in the bottle after the feeding, these bacteria will grow in the leftover formula. Refrigerating the bottle and reheating it later will not stop the growth of bacteria. - The Similac Team

Q: how different is this ready to feed formula from the 360 powder formula? is it okay to give both formulas to baby in the same day? Ready to feed during the day and powder in the evenings?

submitted by Kyle - 3 years ago
  • A: Great question! The different forms of Similac infant formulas are comparable nutritionally, but you may notice the liquid is a little bit thicker compared to prepared powder. Ingredients and processing methods cause these variations but we wouldn't expect your little one to notice much of a difference. - The Similac Team

Q: Are the Similac 360 Total Care bottles and lids BPA free?

submitted by Maximillian - 3 years ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 6-pack of Similac 360 Total Care Infant Formula (8 oz bottles) for free, and I’m really impressed with the quality and convenience. The ready-to-feed bottles make feeding super easy, especially for late nights or when on the go. No mixing or measuring—just shake, open, and feed! My baby tolerated this formula well with no gas or fussiness, and I love that it’s designed to provide complete nutrition, similar to breast milk. It also contains prebiotics to support gut health and immune function, which gives me extra peace of mind. The only downside is that ready-to-feed formulas tend to be pricier than powdered options. However, for busy parents or those who need an easy feeding solution, this is a fantastic choice! I’m grateful for the opportunity to try it and would definitely consider purchasing in the future.

It’s not every baby’s favorite cup of milk but if they do end up liking it, yay for you!

8oz premix gave loose stools

My baby is only on Similac since his birth, we bought 8oz premix bottles last week and my baby had a very bad experience. with this he had loose stools and went more than he used to. This happened with one of my friend's baby too. not sure what is wrong. Never had issues with powder mix and 2oz bottles. I would appreciate if someone can check these and take necessary actions.

He’s at that age where he has zero patience for me to make him a bottle, so this was great to pour quickly for him! Didn’t seem to upset or bother his stomach, and the ingredients seems very straightforward with a child’s health in mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ready to feed formula is super convenient to feed, especially during traveling time with infant. I normally need to pack 2 empty bottles those comes with nibble cuz my kids only take about 4 oz each feeding time. The tastes is quite similar to the powder kind, but somehow I feel this formula is thicker than the one I made out of powder formula from same brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quick and easy use for new born while you are on day out or a short trip. But the weak is while the bottle open you just only can use it within 1hr so it is very value less. Look like I waste money after used only 6oz milk for baby. I would recommend it with smaller bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Similac 360 Total Care for both of my children, and I couldn’t be happier! My son is currently 5 months old, and he’s been on this formula since he was born. The main reason I chose it is that it closely resembles breastmilk, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. I feel confident knowing he’s getting the nutrition he needs for healthy growth and development. Plus, it’s super convenient to bring along when we’re not home! 🌟 It’s been a reliable choice for us, and I highly recommend it to other moms looking for a quality infant formula!

The ready to feed formula is super convenient-no mixing needed. Great for outings or late night feedings (keep in the nursery and you won’t need to make late night trips to the kitchen). The Similac 360 worked the best for my baby’s gut over other formula brands (no smelly diapers).
