We were previously on Enfamil Nutramigen due to dairy sensitivity and the doctors office didn’t have that in stock so they gave us samples of this formula instead. The first one or two feeds after the switch went okay but then she was randomly refusing a bottle which she has never done before. She would drink 2 sips then spit it out and start screaming. This happened for multiple bottles until we realized she just did not like the taste of it. We will be switching back to our more expensive formula that we know she likes. We also had an issue with the formula being very hard to mix into the bottle. You aren’t supposed to shake the bottle because of air bubbles but the swirling method didn’t work so we had to resort to using spoons to mix it in and it still wasn’t really working.

Target has raised their prices by $2, even though if you order directly from the manufacture, the prices are still the same. Taking advantage of families that need this formula is not okay.

My baby is almost 1 years old and he is going to graduate from formula feeding. He was on this formula from 6weeks old because diary and soy allergy and his pediatrician recommended this. This saved him and he is a chunky healthy happy baby with no red stool diaper at all. I am very greatful that this formula existed and I was able to purchase at target.

Switched to this from Similac Total Comfort which was terrible. It didn’t stir well, always had little yellow clumps floating around no matter how much I would stir/mix the bottle. My baby would experience colic and TERRIBLE spit up to the point that he would sometimes CHOKE. I was losing so much sleep, worried all the time, and constantly doing laundry. His pediatrician recommended this one and it’s been amazing! It made him very gassy upon introduction and honestly it does smell bad but he drinks it just fine and his spit up has decreased significantly! No more sleepless nights, endless loads of laundry and ugly bibs ruining my baby’s outfits!

Smells bad and is expensive. It was hard to differentiate my baby not liking the taste or not tolerating it bc he would refuse to eat it. Switched to the up & up hypoallergenic formula which is a better value & has a less offensive smell.

So happy I was informed about this formula! My newborn was sensitive to my breast milk, Similac Advance, and Enfamil Gentlease. I was finally recommended this one from other moms. I told my son's pediatrician I switched to this formula and he told me to give it about two weeks for us to start seeing results so the other formulas can cycle out of his system. We saw results in about 2 1/2, almost 3 weeks. My son is happy during his wake times, he no longer poops at every diaper change, his poop isn't runny, he burps fine, his acid reflux is not so bad, he is a happy baby! The smell doesn't bother me and it's easy to mix. I will say the smell of his poops and burps are strong but other than that this formula was a lifesaver! If you're hesitant on purchasing, it doesn't hurt to try. I was hesitant but also desperate to help my poor baby. I'm glad I did.

Still has cows milk protein in it. Which was Not largely advertised on the can. Worked ok for my daughter. The smell of it was terrible. Even worse when she burped. I wasn’t upset when it wasn’t working for her. We are now on an amino acid based formula.

After closely monitoring our little one, we discovered a milk allergy. After starting Alimentum it has been a complete game changer! We’ve used nutramigen for another one of our little ones who had a milk allergy and it worked great for him, but this one wouldn’t tolerate it at all so we got switched to Alimentum and it’s been great! I will agree with some of the reviews that say it doesn’t mix the best. We swirl the bottle a bit longer and can get it to mix great it just take a bit more effort than other formulas available.

HORRENDOUS smell and taste. Like a spoiled savory piece of chalk. I bought a can as a back up because I have to have my daughter’s regular formula shipped… and omg what a mistake! She spit it out everywhere then cried forever. After tasting it myself I knew why. Perhaps it’s okay from the very start with some babies but this is not one a baby would switch too or tolerate occasionally.
