simplehuman 18 Liter / 4.8 Gallon Butterfly Lid Kitchen Step Trash Can, Brushed Stainless Steel

Bought for our RV to put under the sink. We like how it looks so we decided to leave it out. The slim design doesn't take up much room and the dogs can't get into it. Love the foot pedal soft open. I now have more room under the sink as well.

This is a great trash can. I use it for recycling cat food cans and other recycling stuff. Very good.

Very nice. I purchased this for a friend and he loves it. I have several simplehuman products and I love them. I have never had any problems from any of my products. Each product is exactly at it is described and functions perfectly. These products are a little more costly by other brands but other brands do not last like simplehuman. Good quality and constructed well. Even the paper products are made well and as described. I love simplehuman products and I will always purchase over and over. The only problem I have with your products is that I believe once your customer has responded to your product review, the customer should not be asked to write another review unless there is a direct problem with the product. I needed a trash can to fit in a very small space in my kitchen and this one did the trick. It’s sleek and love how no fingerprints show. Would love to know if the doors can be propped open?

I thought this can was partitioned into two receptacles…..but, I figured how to insert 2 bags so it will give me what I wanted. But, as always, simple human quality is the best!

This is great size for smaller households- first trash can was to large, return / exchange process easy and seamless- simplehuman always has their customers’ back

Perfect fit for my new space and looks very sleek.

We have only had our new garbage can for a few weeks but so far it is great. We needed something to fit in a super skinny space but was tall enough to hold a decent amount of garbage and it is perfect. Just got the butterfly opening because it was our only option for that size and it turns out we really like it. It opens more quickly and takes up less space . The matching garbage bags fit great so they don’t stick out and that keeps it looking nice in our kitchen.

I love my new butterfly step can! I owned a more traditional simplehuman step can which I liked but it was just a little too large for the kitchen area where I keep it. This one is perfect!

Purchased the 18L step fly trash can for my small kitchen and it is the perfect size while having an elegant presence within the space.

Just love this trash can. Looks great in a narrow spot in our kitchen. We had another trash can but it took up way too much space and was always in the way but this one is excellent. I love the butterfly opening. For a smaller can it holds a lot.

I’m extremely impressed with this product. I didn’t know it was possible to be in love with a trash can yet here I am. It is absolutely beautiful and exceeds all expectations but probably the best part of the ownership experience is watching it close, it’s like watching an orchestra perform with the highest precision imaginable, except this time the orchestra is barely a whisper. I’ll definitely be ordering other products in the future. I have my eyes on the dish rack, hamper, shower caddy and soap dispenser. Thank you simplehuman.

Had a larger can from simplehuman for years which work and lasted very well. However we decided on a smaller can for our replacement. It is just perfect takes of less room obviously but is great quality works well. Recommend!

Lovely small self closing garbage can. Fits perfectly under a counter

It's a nice can, but the problem is the measurements provided don't reflect the interior, so it's significantly smaller than the measurements suggest. I am using it for recycling with a paper bag inside, and the bag should fit fine, but it doesn't. I wish they made a rectangle can for a paper shopping bag. No one does. I'm keeping it because I can't find something better, but if I could I would send it back.
