A: This can does not have a bag tuck as some of our other cans do. This can has a trim around the edge of the can where the bag can be wrapped around to hold the liner. We recommend simplehuman liners.

A: There is an odorsorb pod trial pack that comes with this can. It has a slight citrus scent, but doesn't emit an odor. The purpose of the odorsorb is to neutralize trash odors. If this is not what you are referring to, then there is no scent pocket.

I ordered 2 trash cans. They are sturdy, attractive, well-engineered, and do a great job of keeping any smells inside the can. I liked that they also sent a sample of their special trash bags and a deodorizer disk, so that you can try before you buy. The cans are pricey but completely worth it. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say.

I simply love it. No more finding food on top of the can because I have food on my hands. Having the can liner inside is great. Everything in one place. Also I love I don't have to take off the top to change the liner or remove an extra bib. .

I already had a simple human trash can that was relatively new and perfectly functional. But what I did not like about it was that it moved backward every time I stepped on the pedal to open it. So I purchased a new, rather expensive in my view, trash can. It, too, moves backward when I step on the pedal. That is the reason I have given this item only three stars.

Love that I could finally replace my double unit bin as I was buying those 2 and M for another can. This takes M so now I only have to buy 1 size bag. I also love that it doesn't have the barrel inside and it's a sleek more compact look. Simple Human is excellent quality!

I've had this trashcan for a couple months and while most everything about it seems great, I discovered that you pretty much have to buy the special custom fit simplehuman trash bags for this. The trash can came with a starter pack of bags so you won't notice this until your return period is over. I ran out of the starter pack and turned to my huge box of Aldee brand 13 gallon trash bags. A standard trash bag is too loose around the top and will just fall in once you start throwing trash in it. So now I have to... give away my 13 gallon bags and find the best price on the "M" bags. Which, even if you buy a boatload of them at once, are twice the price of regular bags. Kind of regretting putting myself in this position where I bought a trash can that requires pricey proprietary bags.
