For you to only make an iphone app without android support is insurmountably stupid. Like how does this company still exist kind of stupid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Item was gifted to us, and we were super excited about trying it out but come to find out the app isn't available for play store/android. Kind of inconvenient when there's millions of people who can't use this device unless they have some type of Apple device.

I hate this thing. It’s cute and it works well, except that it constantly will randomly turn off. When it does it wakes my baby who does not go to sleep easily. It’s been like torture. I’ll work so hard to get her to go to sleep just to have her woken up by this thing turning off. I’ve finally given up on it. Buy something else that doesn’t depend on Bluetooth.

Just bought this today and was so excited to use it. Incredibly disappointed to find out it ONLY works with iPhone. What a let down!! The box should be more clear as the "not suitable for Andriod" is very small. That's on me for not paying more attention, however, it's 2024, this should be compatible with all kinds. Not a very smart move to exclude an entire group of potential customers. DO NOT BUY unless you have an iPhone. Sadly, not the first time this has happened to us.

Ridiculous this doesn't support Android. Apple makes an inferior product for people of low intelligence. We received this as a gift. My wife really liked it and she is very disappointed.

This thing is such a waste of money. You can only control it with the app, unless mine is defective, and there is no android app. Just apple? Seriously? I like to be able to turn the thing on randomly when my kid falls asleep for a nap. I don't always have my ipad on me obviously and you definitely won't see me buy an iPhone so I'm just stuck, the thing is completely useless. Threw away all the packaging so can't return it but what a HUGE waste of money. For the record yes I tried make sure the option to disable the physical buttons is toggled off, still doesn't do literally anything when I press them.

I love the idea behind this device. The problem is is you want to leave and have a date night the routine you set up does not work if your phone is not in range. Another big issue is that if you have a 3bedroom two story house the device does not work bc it disconnects from my phone I. The room below. Want to love this but very frustrated with the amount of time it does not work and we have only had it a week

It disconnects and randomly turns off all the time. It does not work without WiFi connection. The colors I set never stay on and the routines done work. I’m so disappointed this was one of my most excited purchases from my registry and it only works 1/8 of the time. Avoid at all cost.

Their is no excuses to not support Android OS in this era

Saw nowhere in product descriptions on our registry that it's only suitable for apple. Only when I looked at the packaging did I see in the most inconspicuous corner that is only for apple. Super annoyed.

The snail is extremely cute and I like its use for sleep time and routine. However, (a) it is extremely inflexible. You can’t set it to do the sleep setting for a couple hours and then turn off and do the wake up setting in the morning. The only option is to program it to go all night, and then manually turn it off every night. (b) if you set it to only do the nap setting on eg weekends, it goes off on weekdays anyway. There’s no way to tell it what day it is or confirm it’s on the right calendar. (c) it just. won’t. connect. Mine says “out of range or powered off” when I’m sitting right next to it and it’s glowing and playing sounds. I sit in my sleeping child’s room every night trying to get it to connect so I can make any changes. It’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve already had to delete everything, delete the device, delete the app, delete my account, start all over and reprogram everything once (after it worked for one whole day after setup) and I really don’t want to have to do that again but it would be nice to be able to actually make changes to the routines. Final verdict, very cute and my toddler likes it but it needs a lot of work and actually trying to use it drives me crazy.

We got this as a part of our registry and were so excited to use it...however, we were racking our brain as to why you qr code only took us to buy another and why it wasn't being found in the Google Play store. Then in very tiny letters in white on a red background and almost IMPOSSIBLE to see, I read only compatible with iPhone. I'm ok with it being only for iPhone but for the love of God, put a prominent warning on it so we don't waste our time and money!!!

Amazing product that is worth every penny. Austistic son wouldn't sleep through the night until we got this great night light.

I was originally going to use it for my 4 month old but decided to switch out my 3 year old son’s Hatch for this one so we could utilize the routine features. We just transitioned my son from nap time to rest time and the routines feature has really helped him to adjust to his new routine. The Hatch has routine songs it seems like whereas the Skip Hop has simple phrases to help your child clearly understand what’s expected of them. Plus, you have to pay for the Hatch routine songs. The app is pretty easy to use. I love all of the different color options as well. The only thing I think could be better is the quality of the speaker.

There’re 13 sound options to choose from (including white noose, waves, birdsong and several melodies both calm and playful). Sound level is easy to manage. The light feature is also versatile. My little one is fascinated with the ability to change light color and pattern. Be aware that you’ll need to download an app and pair your snail with your phone via bluetooth in order to use all the features. Without your phone you can only switch the device on/off and change sound level/light intensity but not the color or sound option. The routine features is also available via app only. It’s pretty easy to manage and helps to establish a routine for your little one. Overall it’s a great device well worth its cost. The major downside for me is the snail needs to be plugged in all the time. I would give 5 stars if it was battery operated.
