Skip Hop Glow with Me Portable Sound Machine - Acorn

After our baby was sleeping in the crib, we used this sound machine to soothe him. We LOVED it. But it stopped working after 2 months. The light still worked but there was no sound. Woke up at 3am with no backups. I guess this sound machine would be better used as a backup or as something for travel instead of a nightly tool.

on the second acorn now from dvid janes. going back for the 3 rd one to get replaced. has just been 6 months if that. sound just stops but light still works and looks like its charging but does nothing but the light. not sure what's going o but I know its not me and a fault in this machine. its great if it would work longer than a couple of months. happy to pay any amount for something that actually works. not impressed with this brand now.

It's magical. I don't understand how it works. But it does. Perfect in the car and in the bedroom. Now... 16 months and it is dead. Is this supposed to die? I don't expect it to last forever but still seems like a short life span

Our baby loved this Acorn and so did we. However, one day it just stopped working without reason. It stopped charging and turning on all together. All Skip Hop products we have bought in the past have been great but this one definitely missed the mark.

Stopped working after a week

We were using this as our on the go sound machine. Unfortunately after 2 months it completely stopped working. Won’t turn on or charge. Decided to stick with the mini hatch

Greatest portable sound machine around. Very lightweight, has a variety of sounds and volumes, and very easy to attach to different items (ie. car seat, bassinet, etc.)

Been using it for a week. The sound suddenly stopped working. Lights still working.

This does it’s job perfectly and is also so cute! Really love the “shush” feature and light. Great for the price!

It is easy to attach to his car seat, stroller, crib etc… he even loves to carry it with his hand. This has a different array of sounds. Some are lullabies, white noise, and I even love that it has a hushing noise. It has a nice soft glow that can be used as a night light. It is very easy to charge and then you can unplug it and take it on the go. This is a great portable sound machine!

It offers a soothing sound, easy to hook up to the car seat and cute acorn design. We recently took a 14 hour road trip and I'm so glad I had this to help my little guy nap especially with an older sibling in the car.

I really like how it offers the timer and stay on.It also lights up and the brightness is adjustable too. I think the best part is that it is portable. It has different sounds to choose from but my baby only sleeps to sshhh sound. The volume setting are convenient as we set it loud when outside and in the home it is set to low. It also comes with timer, 15 mins, 30 mins, 60 mins and always on. The light in it can be on or off. We keep it on when in the car, the baby tries to reach it, plays with it. It is a must have for our baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little acorn is perfect for babies on the go. Our youngest sometimes needs to nap while we’re out and about, so I love how portable this is. It is rechargeable, has multiple sound and light settings (including our beloved shusher!!!), and straps right on to the car seat or diaper bag. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, but so far, we love it.
