This snowblower worked really well with the recent storms we had. I'm very happy with it.

This is the second one that was sent to replace the first one which also did not work after 1 use. These are cheaply made snowblowers and are drastically overpriced.

This product works well when it’s working but unfortunately they are not made to last. Mine stoped working after about 3years. Might of used it 20 times, maybe less and now they will not offer me a replacement or extend my warranty to fix it. I also asked them about parts and basically they don’t carry replacement parts , Only thing that was offered was a 15% discount on a new machine. Since l misplaced my receipt.

Living in Rochester, NY it can be a daunting thing to face the winters at times. This little guy did not disappoint so far. It handled the snow very well. My only complaints are the battery compartment covers are poorly designed. I opened the cover to retrieve my battery after snowblowing and the hinge snapped right off immediately. I was perplexed about this. I am having the compartment door replaced under the warranty, but in further inspection, the construction of the battery doors is very poorly designed. Instead of using an actual hinge and pin, the hinge piece on one side is totally plastic. The tension spring to keep it closed seems too good for what the plastic is capable of handling honestly. In a future redesign of the product I'd suggest a redesign of the hinge mechanisms for these battery covers. I ended up having to use packing tape to hold it in place while snowblowing the next day because you don't want the inside of that to get wet or it can damage the machine and battery. It worked fine that way and kept it perfectly dry and in place. But this was only after my first use and a device shouldn't have ANY part break at first use. Putting the device together was somewhat tedious. Some of the turning locks didn't want to turn correctly, and getting the pins open to connect the main rotation bar was very troublesome, however that's a good thing that it shouldn't come loose at any point. Overall, the device is solidly built and I really appreciate the safety features built in such as having to press the button and then lift the handle to start it to prevent accidental activations. I also appreciate the auger cleaning tools being provided too to protect yourself and clear any clogs if you experience them...I can happily say I haven't experienced any clogs needing it at all which is great! I do however suggest getting a second set of batteries for when the snow is extra heavy or if it's snowing so rapidly you have to do it a few times really quickly. This way you don't end up with the batteries dying . Our driveway is I'd say about 56 to 60 feet long and 20 feet wide if that gives you any indication. For most snowfalls, just the two batteries that comes with it are plenty. But for heavier snowfalls I'd suggest being prepared with two more just as an in case. I only have had to use a second set once and that was with over 3 feet of snow rapidly falling in less than a few hours. Otherwise the single set work great! I am giving 4 stars simply because of the flaw with the battery covers. That's a pretty major flaw honestly especially with a part that you'll be physically operating at least 2 times (once to put the batteries in and once to remove them) every time you use the device. Otherwise, this machine did not disappoint. Even at the bottom of the driveway hitting the junk from the plows that builds up, it shred right through it all. It wasn't a small amount either.

This snow blower works great, it light weight and is easy to use. It cut down the time it takes for me to shovel my driveway, my driveway can easily fit 4 cars parked 2 sided to side and 2 cars behind this 2 cars side to side. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I am not able to remove the batteries, I have to get someone to help me, my arthritic hands cannot squeeze and pull the batteries out. Other than that, I think it’s well worth the money.

How many of these reviews are real? Everyone who did a review made it a point to mention that they are in their 60s or 70s?

I love my snow Joe products, the snow blower handles quit a bit for it's size. The only trouble it has is with heavy wet snow. It will remove it, but we are careful not to over work it. We have a bigger machine for that. It is the perfect size for most of the winter.

I bought this as a supplement/backup to a 28 inch gas blower. The first snow we had was about 4 in of light fluffy stuff, I have a 10 car driveway, and it took care of that, and one pass up my 175 ft of sidewalk, the batteries died with about 15 feet of sidewalk left but I had already made one pass up, so it was clear enough. I wanted to see if it could handle the full driveway in a typical snow, so I didn't use my big 28 inch gas Ariens. I have no complaints given the amperage and size of the snowblower and the size of my driveway. I walked fairly quickly given that the snow was relatively light, but it handled it no problem. I was able to do about 2/3 of my driveway with about five or six inches of wet snow. There were times the machine got clogged a little bit but I cleared it out and it went back to work. Again, not disappointed given the battery size and large size of my driveway. My daughter uses it when I am using the larger gas snow blower. She gets some of the smaller areas in between the cars and in some of the areas where the larger blower can't work. It's incredibly easy to use, it's much more powerful than I expected, and I wouldn't actually be concerned about using it in 8 in of lighter snow, as I have a set of backup batteries and I'm pretty sure I can do my driveway and sidewalk with them. I still primarily use my gas blower for clearing, and use this as something that my kids or wife uses, or I use it in smaller areas where I can't fit the larger blower. But I am very happy with this, and the power and performance have exceeded my expectations. I was also glad to have this because during one storm my larger blower slipped the drive belt digging into the crud at the end of my driveway, and was rendered useless. This was in five or six inches of slushy, heavy snow. While the snowjoe struggled a little bit, and I had to back off and re-approach a few heavy areas multiple times, especially at the end of the driveway (I am at the bottom of a downhill section of road, so I get 2/3 of the street snow plowed onto the end of my driveway). This machine took care of the remainder of job for us, using four of the 4ah batteries to complete the job. I wouldn't want to necessarily use this all the time in heavy snow given the 18 inch width, but it came through big for us when our larger gas machine puked on us. When it's on special, it's an absolute no-brainer bargain. And for somebody who has a two or maybe four car driveway, this is 100% all you need, unless you live in the very Northern parts of the country.

I love my Snow Joe and Sun Joe products. My driveway is way too big to use a shovel so I use the snow blower. It's light weight, but works like a heavy duty. I would highly recommend any of their products.

Bought in March of 2023 but didn't use until today, January 12, 2024. It started snowing after midnight. By the time I started throwing, we already had at least 4". My new Snow Joe handled it! Even the 'boulders' at the end of the driveway! No more stinky gas and oil and no more tune-ups! One of the best products I've ever bought for myself! This area is expecting 8-12" with blizzard-like conditions today. Good thing I bought an extra charger and two extra batteries! I'm ready with my Snow Joe, Mother Nature! Bring it on!

I have the 48v 18" . The question asked by most, will it handle heavy snow. The answer is yes, BUT, the battery lasts about 20 minutes . So on a heavy-heavy snow day... it will take about 1+ hr... so requires multiple charging at 2 hours per charge. To help mitigate that, I bought an extra set of batteries... expensive! My driveway is about 3 cars wide by 4 deep driveway. ,re 1-2 inches takes me about 10-15minutes to clear...as fast as I can maneuver the machine 3-5 inches.... about 15-20 minutes 6 to 12 inches... about 30-40 minutes ... may have to do half width of the machine at a time. 12-24 inches...over 1 hr.... but it can do the job, throwing the snow far.... have to do small swaths at a time I have a big gas 26" for the 12-24 inch days. The big advantages Lightweight Handles 90% of my needs... Easy to use, just pull the trigger. Easy, My wife can operate it. I would buy again with extra batteries.

Great little snow blower , on one charge I was able to do my driveway , deck , patio , yard walks , city sidewalk & my neighbours walks. This snow blower is great to use. Lightweight but so far seems pretty durable (Have had it for about 10 months) It will stall when the snow is wet and jams up around the blade, but clean out around the blade and it runs again. Customer support in my experience was tremendous.

I purchased this unit after returning 2 larger units of a different brand that quit after the first use. I thought I would need to return this one as well because initially it would only run for 3 seconds under load. I called customer service and they told me to make sure the batteries were charged fully, then press and hold the button for 10 seconds without pulling the lever, release, then operate normally. Since completing this procedure this unit has been a beast. I've cleared 8 in of old wet snow from the sidewalks, cleared my porch, etc. I am very satisfied with the quality and performance of this unit.

OK, we get snow, and have winter! I just used this for the first time tonight, on heavy, wet snow that would have caused many snow blowers issues. This machine took maybe ten minutes to setup out of the box. That impressed me. I have a two car driveway. I put the batteries in, and away this machine went. I have never had a cleaner driveway after snowfall, even the really heavy snow that I packed down by driving over it, GONE. No gas, no cords, just this great little machine and it worked! A few times it stopped, too much heavy snow. I backed off, started it up, and away it went, cleared it all away. I am impressed, and will definitely add a lawn mower this summer from this company as well! (first, I am impressed, second, their customer service has been excellent, and third, it gives me two more batteries, which I can use in both machines in case I run out of a charge!!!)

I am very pleased with this product. We had a six inch snow storm last week and this Snow Joe Product handled it very well. I was impressed with the power of it and how long the battery lasted.
