SoftSheen-Carson Magic Platinum Shaving Powder Skin Conditioning Aloe and Vitamin E 4.5oz

I used this product on my face to remove my facial hair, I left it on the recommended amount of time and when I was wiping it off it burnt my skin and now I have two large raw patches of skin on my chin.

When I was in the military and used platinum instead of shaving for my personal inspections, I always got the highest ratings.

I tried this skin conditioning shave powder for the first time last week. Best hair removal experience of my life! No burning, no rash, no itching, no redness, nothing! Just clean smooth underarms! Nair ate up my skin, this conditioned my skin. The smell was not that bad, very mild stinch. I bought another jar because I'm going to use it often. Love it!

He said it was pretty easy to use, as he had used shaving powder before. After a few hours passed he noticed his face was breaking out and irritated. So he stopped using it. One pro tip, use something hard and flat to take the hair off, like an old credit card. It works way better than just trying to use a washcloth like you would with nair.

I tried it for myself on my legs (just to see if it would work for me as well as it did on my bf’s beard) and it did work but I almost burned myself. So please follow the directions as they are very true! This is intended for a specific audience and I love the product because of it! Like his father use to use it and the top has to be removed with butter knife or something sharp which isn’t ideal. Second the smell...not something you want near your face. It works for what it is but it needs a lot of work and could be easier to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the 4.5oz container. Smell flowery at first. From what I hear they’re not too pricey at the store. It was hard to mix at first. Maybe use a fork to mix instead of a spoon. I exfoliated 1 leg before and the other after. The paste I used for the first leg was a little thicker so I spread a decent layer all over. While that sat for the required 5-7( if we’re going to be honest- it was longer) I mixed the concoction for the other leg. It was thinner than the first batch but still spreadable. I noticed that the thicker batch removed more hair but that leg was also exfoliated prior to use. I personally recommend a thicker paced consistency. Also, with my previous experience in working in women’s health, I wouldn’t recommend using this on lady bits just based off of the feeling that I had on my legs. I honestly wouldn’t recommend on manly bits either. To me it was time consuming but I’m also very meticulous. I will use this method when I want a me/self care day but if I need to shave on the fly, I will use a razor.
