The Spectra Small Cap Bottle Adapter is used for attaching a standard narrow neck milk bottle to a Spectra Breast Shield. Convenient for moms with extra bottles. Save time by pumping into a narrow neck bottle instead of having to pour, wash, and clean the same bottle after each use. Included is one Spectra Small Cap Bottle Adapter. If you're double pumping, you will require two Spectra Small Cap Bottle Adapters.

Q: Is this compatible with Spectra S2 pump and Playtex liners?

A: Hi Sho. Spectra bottles are not compatible with Playtex liners. However, Spectra flanges are designed to fit most wide neck bottles, and a Spectra small cap converter is available to make them compatible with narrow-neck bottles.

A: Unfortunately, this brand's bottles are not compatible with the Spectra® Small to Wide Neck Milk Bottle Cap Adapter, as they do not have a small neck. This adapter is specifically designed for converting standard narrow neck bottles to fit a Spectra® wide neck flange.

A: Hi HM. No, the Spectra Small Neck to Wide Neck Bottle Cap Adapter only works if the Dr. Brown's bottle is a narrow neck bottle so essentially the Spectra Bottle Cap Adapter converts a Dr. Brown's narrow neck bottle to a wide neck bottle.

So despite the name, this allows smaller neck bottles to connect to your Spectra like the tall and thin Dr. Brown's Bottles. I wish that we had an option for bottles that are larger than the Spectra bottles, such as Nuk bottles. It would be great. It is nice to connect mt Brown's bottles though.

You can use these to pump into dr browns bottles OR attach to your Crete’s chill to pump into the inner chamber and bottle piece with your spectra flanges (wide neck)

I didn’t want to use storage bags as from many reviewers stated that they leak after being defrosted. So I am so glad found this connector to use with the medela bottles. As many reviewers stated the threading is a little challenging but it will fit, just a wiggling back in forth for a sec. But it’s still well worth it, and recommended.

I bought two of these and one worked great and the other one wasn’t threaded properly and wouldn’t screw onto the bottles. Target sent me a replacement and the replacement works great. Three stars due to them being inconsistent, if you get one that works it is perfect.

I purchased the Lansinoh breastmilk storage bag pump adapter to pump directly into my storage bags and the adapters were far too small for the Spectra s2. Came across these in store and purchased it to see if it would fit that adapter and it works great! Finally able to cut out the bottle step and pump directly into storage bags for later!

Items screws fine into the flange part, but the other side doesn’t allow the smaller neck bottle to screw in well. It takes me multiple attempt to get the bottle attach. So unless you want to loose breast milk avoid this product. My smaller bottle came out in the middle of pumping and I lost 4 ounces of milk. I won’t be using these again and don’t recommend them. I don’t recommend this product and at this point I wish I didn’t get the spectra pump because of lack of availability of parts for it. I need larger 8oz bottle for my middle of the night pump and bought these threads to use my bigger storage bottles, but thanks to the awful design of the spectra flange they make it impossible to use other bottles.

Absolute game changer. My little likes Dr. Brown's bottles, and I was playing the shuffle game between the Spectra bottles and the Dr. Brown's. No more. I just pump directly into her bottles when I need to now. Super easy, works well, no leaks, easy to clean, too. I'm so happy I got this.

This product screws into the larger bottle/pump accessory side but does not screw into the smaller side meaning that if you're using these to pump you need to manually make sure that the bottle is pushed up inside the adapter and doesn't fall out/spill your preciously pumped milk all over. Adding the ability to screw into the smaller bottle would be a significant product improvement. I plan to look for a better solution than this
