Do not use Spectracide® Weed Stop For Lawns Plus Crabgrass Killer Concentrate on lawns containing bentgrass, St. Augustine grass, Bahia grass, centipede grass or carpet grass. A Cool season turf grass: Kentucky bluegrass; perennial ryegrass; fescue spp., including tall, red and fine leaf fescues. Warm season turfgrass: zoysiagrass**, Bermudagrass***, buffalograss **Do not apply to zoysiagrass just emerging from dormancy, as it may result in lawn damage. ***Application to Bermudagrass may cause temporary yellowing or discoloration, but full recovery can be expected. Q: Will it kill the poison ivy and NOT the bushes it's under and around?

Usually it requires 2-3 applications just to get a decent performance. After trying this weed killer, I will say it’s better than products I’ve tried in the past, but it definitely didn’t kill everything the first go around. A subsequent application does finish the job though. Again, not the best, but pretty good for a hose-end application product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first and most important is upon spraying my Zyosia grass, this didn't kill it. Always something you have to be careful of (ask me how I know). It got some of the crabgrass but didn't really kill it all. I think the reality is the only way to really get rid of crabgrass is to get on the ground and pull it out by it's roots.

I love how easy it is to connect to the water hose, move the lever and spray. The results are quick and kills weeds with no issues. It's nice because it doesn't damage my lawn and I feel comfortable using it around my trees, flowers, and shrubs. The bottle covered my entire lawn which is on the medium size compared to other neighbors and I still had a little bit leftover. The only hard part was waiting for a dry day recently as we had storms moving in through the area. It does require 24hrs of no irrigation so be advised.

It was an extremely rough time for me to eliminate the unwanted weed. It's easy to use, and the instructions are very well explained on the back. After I used this a few times, I started noticing some differences. It works gradually on some thick weeds, but it works; it requires some patience here. After a few weeks, the weed eventually disappeared from my grass, and I am happy about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easy to use. You just hook the bottle to the hose, pull the red tab, turn the hose on, and flip the switch on the sprayer. This killed the weeds in the lawn within days and we’re completely gone in 3 weeks. You don’t need to be really accurate with the sprayer because it’s not going to kill the grass. I would spray flowers or anything but you don’t have to be super precise. This is a good product.

Application was easy enough and I can already tell a difference after one week. I will keep you posted if this is only a short term fix, how the grass growth reacts to the product and if I have to reapply in a month or so. So far I am happy with the product.

I applied the product in dry conditions and waited 48 hours to check results. Normally all weeds are shriveled and dead within this time but most that were sprayed were only half dead and the root still seemed firm. I ended up pulling the weeds up and will cross my fingers they don't come back.

It was simple to attach my garden hose to the bottle, which made application to my yard easy. Took approximately two to three days to take full effect. Clean up was easy. Just remove your garden hose and safely dispose of the empty bottle. Make sure you wash you hands after use.

It took longer than the 5 hours and it didn't rid my yard of all the weeds. I was impressed by the convenience, a simple hookup and spray type bottle. One needs to be very consistent on where you spray it and be careful about overspray. It seems most inconsistent with the dandelions. I've basically given up on controlling those pesky things, but the spray does help with many other weeds to leave my lawn mostly green grass.

I applied to a small portion of the yard as a test and was pleasantly surprised that the lawn was fine and the broadleaf weeds were weakening. I applied the remainder of the product to our lawn and saw the same result. Over the course of the next several days/week more weeds died. I’ll be procuring more for the rest of the yard!

It seems to have tackled a good amount of the weeds anslowed the growth of more. I do like the convenience of the hose end sprayer as opposed to some of the other application methods out there.

Let me tell you that I have several problems with the weeds growing on my grass, this product has slowed down the growing, I don’t have a doubt that it works, but not totally on my backyard, I believe it is because of all the several problems with the weeds. But definitely it’s making a progress by slowly stoping it. I will keep using it until it is cleared up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How I did it – picked a day when it’s moderately warm and no rain in the forecast; wore old long-sleeve shirt and long pants, sturdy old shoes, mask, and eye protection. Stretched out hose to reach the area to be sprayed; attached sprayer and tightened together; turned on faucet; went back to sprayer and removed the yellow tab on the side of the spray head and put in my pocket; moved the lever behind the spray head to control the amount of spray; soaked all weeds from top to bottom and back to top; did it again; moved lever to full off and set sprayer down on ground; went back to faucet and turned it off; removed sprayer from hose, replaced the yellow tab so it couldn’t accidentally spray, and set it in a secure place away from pets and children; returned hose to hose holder; went inside, carefully removed shoes and all clothing and placed next to washer; took full shower; dressed in comfortable clothes; relaxed and let the Weed Stop do the hard work of slowly and permanently destroying those pesky weeds. Repeated 3 days later for more absorption of the Weed Stop by the plants. Enjoyed slow steady die-off.
