Spenco Cross Trainer and Ground Control Insoles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Spenco Cross Trainer for about 20 years. Now comes a game changer with the Ground control Insiles. Both are great insoles! It feels like I am walking on air. I walk at least 8 to 10 miles a day. I hope Spenco does not go away . My feet would be sad and hurting if they did. I always look for Ground Control when shopping for Insoles. Keep up the great work. Thanks, Jason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work at a slaughter house and spend my days wearing rubber boots most days. I have used the same pair of these insoles for over a year and a half I believe, and they've held up well. Definitely recommend! Just bought another pair for my new boots.

Love these arch supports! My podiatrist recommended them. I put them in just about every pair of shoes I own and my feet feel so much better.

I did quite a bit of research in trying to find a good quality insole for my hiking shoes. I have a pair of Merrill hiking shoes and a pair of Merrill hiking boots, and I really enjoy wearing them on hikes wear the ground is uneven. However, I have found that after about 4 to 5 hours my feet start to get fatigued, so I decided to upgrade the insoles to see if that will fix the problem. I was looking for a quality insole that didn't necessarily have to be the most expensive, and I believe I found them. The Spenco Ground Controls fit very well in my shoes and boots (I can interchange them depending on which I am wearing that day). I haven't had a great opportunity to wear them out hiking yet since I just got them last week, but I wore my hiking shoes the entire day the other day, and my feet never got the slightest bit fatigued. I'm really looking forward to getting out and testing them on some trails, but based on my recent experience, I'm feeling pretty optimistic. Excellent fit! Excellent quality! And by far, not the most expensive (not the least expensive either)!

Not enough padding and can’t get this with a metatarsal support.
Great shape, needs more rigid arch imo

Finally Spenco has rounded out the bottom of the heel and given us a truly cupped heel so the fat pad under the heel can function normally. I absolutely love the way these fit my feet like they were made for them. The arch support is flexible giving a nice springy feeling to your step. However the medium support was not enough for me as I have flat feet and overpronate so I’ve changed to the Ground Support High Arch which is better. Spenco, if you considered offering a slightly more rigid option in the arch that didn’t flex quite so much this would be absolutely perfect and would capture more of the over pronation folks who often need this deep heel cup (due to plantar fasciitis and other foot ills). Also if you offered 3mm and 6mm medial/lateral posting options for sale (in gel or dense foam?) people could really customize this to their feet. Just some ideas.
Great, comfortable product, fast shipment.

I use Spenco insoles and have for around 8 years. There are several that i like, each for different applications. I recently purchased the Ground Control Medium Arch. The heal is more cupped & the entire insole, more thin than any other Spenco I've purchased. However, they are remarkably comfortable and due to their narrow design(I've a wide foot) and thin padding, they work perfect in my cowboy boots without making the boot tighter than the factory insole. Though thin, the padding is firm, comfortable and seems to resist crushing very well. I didn't purchase these for my boots, but I'm very happy to have stumbled across it, as no insole to date, has fit my boots without making the boot tighter. Highly recommended!
