Q: Do I spin the handle myself or is there a function in the bucket itself for this?

A: You unlock or pull open the gray plastic tab on the side of the mop handle/stick, and the mop stick will lengthen. Then you place the mop with mop head into the spin bucket with the center of the mop head fitting directly over the short plastic rod that sticks up from the center of the spin bucket, which will hold the mop head in place. With the tab on the mop handle/stick still in the open and unlocked position, push straight down on the mop handle. As you are pushing down and pulling up on the mop stick, it will shorten and lengthen, which causes the mop head to spin in the spin bucket. Repeat as many times as needed to wring out desired amount of water.

Q: How do I remover the microfiber towel to wash it? It seems like it’s stuck to the base and a few pieces of the mop came out when I tried to remove it.

A: Hi JLemon - Thank you for the inquiry about Spin Mop with Refill. Pull microfiber head off the assembly and toss in washing machine, wash in warm water, use the mop spinner mechanism to remove water and let air dry, refasten cleaned head to the pole assembly. Hope this helps! - Rolex

I have had this mop for a litte over a month and used it 3 times. The attachable head won't attach anymore and the mop just sucks in general. The spin detail is manual which it doesn't diplay very well. This product is deceptive and terriblele for how expensive it is. I should've just bought the O-Cedar beacuse this is the biggest waste of money I have ever encountered.

The concept is there, however I think it needs some improvement. The mop head doesn't really clean or scrub, more of a soft texture. Also, using the spinning mechanism is a little wobbly and flimsy. Returned

Let me start by saying, I love the color and the price but, I was very disappointed in the product itself. The clean water doesn’t actually separate from the gray water as advertised, instead, it basically just separates two buckets of gray water because once you’ve mopped and dipped the mop back into the clean water and spin the mop, the dirt goes into the clean water. It’s just pointless. Maybe the Ocedar one is better?

i really like this mop & bucket! spins nice, easy to clean the bucket out my store doesn’t sell the mop head replacements :( i didn’t think to check i just assumed they had replacements.. i wouldn’t have bought it if i had known

The mop flips over when mopping, and the microfiber mop head does not pick up dirt, also where it is attached on the poll comes unscrewed while mopping . This a terrible mop. I will be returning it.

Good, basic mop. I couldn't justify the more expensive name brand one, so when I saw the up&up brand one, I got it. It works really well. (The spinning mechanism is in the mop pole, not the bucket. You have to unlock the pole, then press down gently for the bucket to spin.) There are a few quality issues mop to mop. After buying one for my place, I got one for my bf. The second mop's pole doesn't fully lock together at the very top. So sometimes it does detach from the rest of the mop. But it still works well. Overall it works well, and any quirks are worth the price.

Since no one clearly explains it, when you flip the lever on the mop you are able to PUSH it into the spinner bucket and it will spin. It will not spin if you do not flip the lever on the mop. Instructions aren’t clear and the reviews don’t specify how to actually do it.

Poorly designed for assembly in multiple parts. Doesn’t give proper instructions on how to use. The image is misleading - this doesn’t spin like comprable brands even though it’s modeled the same way. This mop and bucket is absolute garbage!

Ive read that you cannot spin this one like the o’cedar but if you unhinge the mop stick (the bit that retracts it) then push down on the spin basket it will spin how it should! I hope this helps.

I was really disappointed that this didn’t have a foot pedal. It seems like there’s no point to a spin mop I have to spin manually, it doesn’t seem like you could get it as dry as you could with a pedal. Will be returning.

Pros - nice size bucket that can be used as a stand alone or two section bucket, dirty water separates from clean water, and the microfiber head is machine washable. Cons - handle is not sturdy, difficult to spin, and difficult to wring out.

This spin mop exceeded everyone’s expectations and more. Easy to put together, the mop was put to use as soon as it was assembled. I swept the floor before we used it and our wood floors are so shiny. This will be in our weekly chore list. I received this for free for my unbiased opinion.
