St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse - 6.7 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

Leaves a beautiful color and a nice deep tan. But soo many cons. Very strong smell once it’s developed and it never drys down/feels sticky all night. Gets all over sheets and clothes through the night.

Honestly shocked at how much I love this tanner. Is definitely a splurge, but it’s so easy to apply and blends really well. I use a $7 Sonia Kushak body brush to blend it out, and it looks great. It absolutely has a smell (it says it doesn’t on the bottle). It’s not as strong as others, but still smells like fake tan. And it gets on everything (sheets, clothes, etc) but washes off easily. Will be repurchasing.

It does give you a really nice dark but it makes your skin SOOOO DRYYY like moisturize three times a day and still cracked dry, then wears off patchy. It also is super sticky so it doesn’t dry all night. Also, doesn’t last as long as other brands I’ve tried but the color is really nice

My body complete burned and broke out in rashes! So much so some spots of my body blistered! I am not sure what they put in this but it not clean products like it is advertised! This also made me severely sick I was so nauseous and was vomitting for a whole day! I know that is not normal and I am definitely going to look more into this product line! NOT OKAY!!!

This tanner made my whole body green and it was a brand new bottle that I’ve had for not even a week. Super disappointing

I have used almost every self tan out there so naturally I decided to try this one, too. This was relatively expensive compared to most, so I was really expecting great quality. Unfortunately this is the worst self tan I have ever used. It doesn’t dry at all — it’s almost impossible move with this on because any smudge throughout the day wipes it off. If you make it through the wait time, you’ll be disappointed to learn that the tan completely washes at the first sign of water - even after waiting overnight for it to develop.

Says that they use natural clean ingredients. Unfortunately it contains Phenoxyethanol which is a known skin irritant and is TOXIC around the mouth… probably don’t put it on your skin. Very unfortunate. :(

This is a really garbage product. I exfoliated, carefully applied, and left it on for 10 hours. Every single bit of it came off in the shower.

i’ve been using this product for about a year now and i swear it has looked incredible every single time i’ve put it on. i have a naturally olive skin tone but i tend to get a bit lighter in the winter, when i tell you this product looks so naturally beautiful! it dries down so nicely and looks so even every single time. i literally cannot say enough good things about this tanner. i will never use another product.

Have been using the lotion for years easy to apply on all skin types. First pump bottle changed for tube, now lotion for mousse. Sorry product rubbish .Review from qualified beauty therapist 25 years.

Ok. So, we’ve all had that self tanner that has made us orange and streaky. With that in mind, I was terrified to try another self tanner. I did research for weeks. Read reviews, magazines, watched YouTube videos... you name it. I wish I remembered who it was in a YouTube video, but she reviewed 3 different self tanners with a pale complexion like mine and she said she liked the St Tropez the best. Ok. Cool. So I read up more about it. Sold. I purchased the express tan. Bought an exfoliant. Exfoliated for 48 hours beforehand, shaved 24 hours beforehand, and moisturized a lot. I kid you not, I was SO nervous to apply this self tanner lol! Not kidding, I felt a little anxious. I didn’t want the public humiliation again. Anyway, right before I applied, I put a touch of moisturizer on my most dry places. Let it absorb. And I began with a body length mirror. It was so easy with the color guide. Like, incredibly easy. I actually followed what this lady said in her YouTube video and I used a makeup brush to blend it onto my feet, hands, and face. She swore it didn’t add too much like everyone fears. Fast forward, I’m dry and I put on a robe. I let it sit for 2 hours. Rinsed off. Patted dry. Now, more than 8 hours later, I see a huge difference. So, the picture in the ad with the pale girl on the left, the two hour shade is pretty accurate to where I’m at right now. I’m amazed! For the first time ever, I have no streaks, it’s not orange, and there’s no horrible smell. There’s an extremely faint smell, but you literally can’t smell it unless you press your nose against your skin. I’m not one to leave reviews, but for anyone who’s a paranoid skeptic like me, this seriously is the one to choose. I’m in love! I can’t wait to deepen my tan with this. Normally I would go to a tanning bed (or outside if Chicago weather were actually nice right now) but due to the pandemic, obviously we can’t do that. That’s when I looked into self tanning. Honestly, I may not go back to a tanning bed. I’m sold. 100% sold. Take my money. You own me now.

This is one of my favourite tans from St Tropez. It goes on easier and smoother than the original mousse and sinks in quicker in my opinion. It's not as drying as other mousses and the result is a really realistic and dark tan.

This mousse is fantastic, it applys so easy with the St Tropez mitt and gives a really even coverage with long lasting results. I love the way that this is not sticky so you can carry on as normal and not have to wait. The smell is by far the best.

Have used all the tans on market. This is by far the best. No smell, drys quick and gives a real healthy dark natural looking tan..try it. Its brilliant.

I love this bottle and how it appears. I feel you know you are going to get a good tan just from how appealing the packaging is! I used it with the St Tropez mitt, this mousse is so simple to use that even idiots like me can't even get it wrong!

Applied with the mitt this product was easy to put on and gave a lasting tan, would recommend this to friends.

This by far is definitely and always has been my favourite product of the whole St Tropez range! Always leaves me with a fresh, healthy & non-streak glow! I love it, best tanning product on the market!

This product is my absolute all time favourite & always an essential for me!! As a regular tanner I use it all the time as it gives me the ultimate deep bronzed glow all year round to the point people have actually asked me if I've been on holiday!
