I used Olaplex for about a year, but my hair started to dry out. Tried Ouai. It made me break out in hives. I tried Routine and it damaged my hair so badly I thought I was going to have to cut off my hair and start over. Then I saw a recommendation for Suave Karatin Infused shampoo & conditioner, and all I can say is WOW! After the first shampooing, my hair looked and felt 100% better. It's soft, shiny, smooth and manageable. Honestly, the more expensive stuff never made my hair look this good. I don't have to cut my hair now. Thank you, Suave!

Faulty conditioner Pumps

I haven’t tried the shampoo or conditioner yet, so my rating is not for the quality of the product but more so with its packaging. I bought multiple sets of the shampoo and conditioner sets and in two of the ones that I opened and tried, in both the conditioner pump is stuck. It won’t open. I did not want to return the product just because of a faulty pump. So I opened up another set and again in that I was able to get the shampoo pump to open up but not the conditioner’s pump. I watched videos and troubleshooted and none of the strategies worked. At the end, I used the pump from the second shampoo bottle and put it in the conditioner and put the non-open conditioner pump in the second shampoo bottle. Not sure if it is a faulty batch or quality issue. But a bit disappointing.

I thought the scent was okay. As far as effectiveness it wasn't the worst. Not the best at washing products out of your hair such as hairspray and styling gel but it worked on my hair without any product. As far as ingredients go I love shampoos with keratin and it was a pretty good price for you what you get.

I really lucked out with this shampoo/conditioner combo! I wash my hair multiple times a day and it was so dry and broken for so long. I purchased this on a whim as I was looking for a budget friendly hair regimen with keratin that would add moisture and it has restored my hair’s soft sleekness. I have fairly long thin hair, for comparison ☺️

After about a month of using this shampoo and conditioner I noticed my hair was very dry, more frizzy, and felt damaged. I also noticed my hair would not hold a shape. After having my hair braided all day I would take the braid out and my hair would fall flat in a frizzy mess. Typically my hair holds on to shapes very well, I never have to use hair spray when I curl my hair. I’m not sure what I’m this shampoo and conditioner but it did not work well with my hair.

The pump is so convenient. This is a lightweight feeling solution that leaves my hair silky and sleek. However, I like mixing it up and using this keratin shampoo with their coconut oil infusion conditioner (which is heavier and more my scent style).
